Mabe the dream needs to change from time to time

I started out as a kid in NYC, without a single family member in aviation. I wanted to become a pilot, and I did it.

Fast forward to now. I left Flight Options to follow the Skybus gig. Made Captain on the A320. LOVED IT. Skybus went out and I went to INDIA to fly for 7 more months before giving it up as unworkable for myself and the wife and kid. Flew over Mt. Everest and LOVED it.

Home and unemployed for now. Do I have regrets? Yes, but not about flying, its the job part, and what it does to the people around us.

So now, things are looking up. Hired by the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency as a aviation analyst. I'm looking into going back to private flying, buying a C172 and starting over.

As I said. Maybe the dream just needs to change from time to time.
