Just here to point out your BLOVIATION.

I was told it was too large (I have heard that before---sorry) for the screen, so I had to take it down. I liked it too.

As far as having the contract thrown out, that would again ultimately result in a strike and shutdown. That won't happen. I think if it is voted down more negotiations would take place. Look at the judge at the Comair Flt Attendant 1113c. He didn't give any ruling at all.

As far as the additional pay cuts, there are none. We get the same pay cut we have now, because that was a temporary agreement. So, we do not get another pay cut from what we have now, and we would get a small 1.5% raise in Jan 07.(jan 08 will give another 1.5% raise, and up to an extra 6% if we hit performance criteria---and we also get 15% of any pretax income as a bonus along with other employees) As far as the pension goes, we all knew it would go away, since they haven't funded it in over 6 months. If any pilot was over 50 or especially over 53, they should have retired and taken the money. Those who did not were dumb in my opinion. IF the DB plan does fail, which is expected, the rest of us will get a large chunk of change in our own IRAs that we chose, and could get more with BK claims we also have (we are creditors also, with $2.1 billion in additional claims that could net $400 million more). In addition, our DC programs will get a 9% monthly contribution (if you make $10,000 a month, then the company would give you $900 worth of matching each month) and they would then also add an additional 2% for 401K matching that was already agreed upon. So, there are some people that will lose out, but anyone over 50 had the chance to leave with more.

Overall, this TA is ok, except for not helping the furloughed pilots. I will vote NO and if they have to go back and fix that part, sobeit. That will cost them nothing, since scope was not included in the costing.

Next I see....relief on the RJ seat configuration...tied to getting ride of the 88s. That means 90-104 seats being flown by DCI at DCI rates. Mainline shrinks to widebodies and 73-800s.

What do you mean? If this TA passes, our pay will go up a minimum of 4.5% in the next 3 years, with a potential of an extra 13.5% if the airline does well. Plus, we will get 15% of any pre-tax income for the year as a bonus, along with the other employees.

So, with a minimum INCREASE of 4.5%, how are we contributing to that? The regionals are declining or will be declining at a much larger rate in the future, trying to chase new feed.

How long do you think it will take management to go to the BK court and ask permission to throw these clauses out? My guess is 4-6 months. Mind you, this is all from a team that came up with "Delta After Dark" where the employees take time away from their families to work for FREE. Tell me how great this contract is in 6 mos. Just keep in mind your friends at ATA who, in the course of 1 and a Half years agreed to FOUR pay concessions under the auspices of ALPA.

What pay cut? We had a temporary pay cut last December, and that will now hold. So, no additional pay cuts. Plus, there is a clause in the TA that does NOT allow bonuses to management for our pay cuts. Did you read the TA? I don't think so. You need to. Besides the scope issue, it really isn't bad. Helping our current furloughs is the only area that needs work. Get informed before you post.

Shareholders and creditors go wild when costs are reduced (your salary being a cost) and stock goes up. Shareholders profit. But management only takes you pilots as "lowly" rank and file, barely educated enough to tie your shoes.

Well, I think it is wrong what they are doing to you guys, and that is why I will vote no. I think they can clean up some of the TA and make it better, for no cost.

I actually think though that there will be recalls. We are short, and there will be some sort of an expansion plan, primarily to cover some of the 767s that will be going to INTL. Those DOM 767s will be covered by 757s, which will have to be replaced on certain routes by 738s, and then MD88s, etc. I don't think the 70 seater or even a 76 seater could cover for those planes, and it will be two full years until they could get 30 of those, and they just have 6 extra seats. The TA did say that force mejeur could NOT be used, and the 1113c also can not be used again in this BK, unless DIP financing were in major jeopardy. The only way that will happen is if we have another 9-11, and that would affect every airline. I cannot see us EVER giving up on MD88s or any 100 seater we will get. They cannot change the 76 seater to 90 seats---again, no Force Mejeur can be allowed to do any of that. There is such a big gap between a 76 seater and the next smallest plane (after the 737-200 is gone)--the MD88, that there will be some 100 seater eventually found, and there is NO way DCI can take it or no way we would give up our MD88s etc. Could they pull another BK on us? Maybe, but doubtful. USAir did it twice, but they never had the fundamentals in place the first time, and I think we really would tank this place if it happened again soon.

So, I will vote no because of the way they are treating you, but I think eventually they will fix the TA and we will grow a bit more and you will come back. I think many will bypass recall, and if you are ready you will come back sooner than later. That is how I see it, and I will be at the ATL road show and make sure to ask the tough questions. This TA may still NOT pass (I hope so), and I think the company now sees we are serious, especially with our 95% vote authorization. No more relief will be given, again.

Pop up flowback? USAir did that with Mesa and PSA when they were in BK, and I am sure if some airline wanted more growth, they would accept the same. Yeah and CAL/COEx - ExJet had an agreement PRIOR to th eflow back. So did AA and Eagle. They didn't do it only when it was convienent for them. Small details that you continually leave out that destroy your arguments.

WhatRU raises a good question. Why did the Delta MEC wait until they were in trouble to want some sort of flowback arrangement? I realize that they thought they were safe with the no-furlough thing, but would it have cost them so much to work out a flowthrough beforehand just in case? Never hurts to have a backup plan.

I'm no fan of GL but enough is enough. Alright, the TA provides some scope relief - fine. GL was wrong - fine. GL has ragged on regional guys forever - fine, he get's the point now.

I'm an ASA guy and I've had some disputes with Gl, but it's time to put this behind us. If the TA passes, it passes. If it doesn't, it doesn't.

It's time to demonstrate a little professionalism out there. We want to be paid like professionals, let's act like them. All of this infighting only serves to support managements attempts to divide us.
