Hahahaha

If you're not on a heavy, then you're a DC pilot too, just with seniority voting rights- dont think for a second that senior DALpA pilots won't sell you out for a nickel OYS
Keep it up outer limits - I love it-

You love it? If I'm not on a heavy then I am a DC pilot too? What? I can bid a heavy now in NYC, but I choose not to. Can a DCI pilot? Uh, nope.

Why would senior pilots sell us junior guys out when we are very profitable and this is supposed to be a "restoration" contract from better contracts in the recent past? A lot of your post above has problems with it, but at least you love it.

Godspeed!

Only trouble with this train of thought is there are lots less heavy pilots than narrow body. Plus you have know idea what you are talking about, mid seniority and jr guys run the show here..

Freudian slip?
;)

Dalpa allowed even more scope in 2007-
After being the biggest outsourcing offenders
I hope I don't know what I'm talking about, but until dalpa pilots choose to take responsibility for their role in killing this career and show some commitment to the hard work that is rolling back outsourcing- I'm going to keep calling dalpa pilots sellouts.

You are what you are, until you aren't

Do you connect delta passengers? Then yes- you're a DC pilot. Do you see what's wrong in having so many of your delta pilots on separate seniority lists, whipsawed against each other, with no voting rights? The very definition of disenfranchised. 2nd class citizens flying routes that used to be dalpa routes, and you defend it like a good boy?
Just do as your told OYS, dalpa nos what they are doing
Why would senior pilots sell out junior pilots at any time? -A: bc they only care about themselves and can't see the whole picture of how they help undermine their own wages.
Just feel good that sold out, disenfranchised pilots accept virgin wages in droves to get out from under the myopic thumb of dalpa- maybe if you didn't have half of your domestic flying done by connection pilots not on your list, there wouldn't be so many willing to fly at wages that undercut you.

Can somebody buy a ticket on delta and expect that a delta pilot will be flying them?
They should, but they can't - and that's the scam.

That's not allowed anymore on the internet. It has to say who is actually flying the plane. Just like Southwest to Guadalajara, on Volaris.

Throw in an app. Hiring may occur late this year or early next year. That MD88 is just waiting for you.

Do to some sadastic nature of mine, I'm actually hoping for a DC-9 spot. Why not? It's the last bastion of true airlinedom. Smoke, noise, and all.......

Not only that, but I promised the General we'd fly togeather. What can I say- I'm a fan......

If there is a "Connection" anywhere on your aircraft, there is no affilliation with DAL in any way shape or form. We're just slaves to an underclass wrought with misery, abuse, and lack of respect.

Then you're a Delta wannabe, not a Delta pilot. Period.

My ID says delta my plane says Delta the bag carts say Delta the passengers I fly bought a ticket to fly Delta ... I fly for Delta

So Mr deny jumpseat , do you deny the Horizon pilots jump seat ?

they might all say delta, but what does your resume say?

you go to a fed ex interview and they ask you who you fly for.....will you say delta?

Is the word "connection" anywhere on your plane?

Dont hate the player hate the game. Delta is the one giving me the flying and puts Delta on my ID

But it doesn't ONLY say Delta. You are missing the part about CONNECTION. Keep it going though, everyone loves it. Someday, if you throw in an app, you may get your chance to interview, unless you are the grandfathered Compass guys, who get to flow up without an interview. Good luck!

Man you guys sure like to beat down a pilot who operates flights for Delta. Beating down others to make yourself feel good kind of night?

For a regional pilot to claim to be a Delta pilot is a falsification, nothing less.

Saying you fly for Delta when actually flying for a feeder of Delta is kind of like saying you play for the Atlanta Braves when you are playing for their AAA team.

Beat down? It seems obvious that there is some "TIC" going on in his posts. He knows he doesn't fly for DELTA, and he continually states he can't wait to fly MD80s (no MD80s at Delta, only MD88s and MD90s) at his current DCI affilliate. He can be proud that he flies feed for DL if he wants, but he has to actually get hired first to say the same at his next job. No disrespect, just the truth.

But he/she is flying Delta routes that they gave away because of a bad contract, right? If you're doing Delta flying, your kind of a Delta pilot, right? Just less buttons and glitter and gold on the uniform, right?

That's fine if you want to say you fly for Delta, just don't forget to add Connection at the end. Or Express if you're United or US Airways. I get it, you're average Joe doesn't know who Skywest or Air Wisconsin is. If you're talking to other pilots though, you definitely don't work for Delta. Tired of hearing some ****************************** brag about flying for Fed Ex, when he flies a Cessna Caravan. When I used to fly cargo in a Chieftain, I never said I flew for UPS.

The paint says Delta. Aren't you [Fubijaakr] the pilot that likes the deny jumpseat to carriers your airline has an agreement with?

Yeah, but he's teaching them a valuable lesson (although not necessarily the one he THINKS he's teaching). Besides, we don't talk about that on FI anymore. He's stopped bragging about it, and we stopped beating on him for being a no-integrity, power-abusing putz. I'm sure he still does it; but that's okay, we all still think he's a no-integrity, power-abusing putz. We just don't TALK about it anymore. Get it?

P.S. Oops! A little thread creep again... hope we don't get "moderated!" :0
