Sure you'll finish your 20, and then probably have to do another 20 due to psych evals at the airlines working against you. Maybe then you actually will be a General, and I'll still call you SARGE.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Maybe I will stay another 20. Someone has to pass that gas to keep the world free of evil doers.

If it weren't the military you wouldn't be free to give up those pay cuts and reach 10,000 posts.

Your Captain's pay will be close to your pre-bankruptcy F/O pay? Yikes...Ch.11 really MUST suck.

Before BK I was making $180 an hour as an FO, in my 8th year, but we could only earn 75 hours a month due to the fact that we had furloughed pilots. I now make $115 or so, but can fly more and keep the pay. I also made $280,000 on my BK claim, and $66,000 on my pension dump. I think it made up for some of that loss.

Sweet! Lose over a third of the pay...but you can work harder to almost get back to that level. Sign me up for more pay cuts and pension dumps. And bring back Song!

And if it weren't for my Grandad, the French would be German....? Thanks for your service, regardless. I can volunteer for MAC charters that we do to Europe and onto the Middle East, so maybe I will contribute to the effort someday. No need to fill our 767ERs up, though. Stay away please.

So, will you respond to FDJ2? He had a great response for you, and I am eagerly awaiting your reply.

All I know is that you guys can't polish a turd.

I'm still waiting for you to answer my question. Which is a worse deal: Pay cuts or 25 minute turns (obviously with no pay cuts)?

The great thing you continually neglect to bring up is that we were paid 3 times more than anyone else. We had 777 Captains making $315 an hour. Our 764 FOs were making $210 an hour, more than any Southwest Captain now makes. Our second year pay was well over $100 an hour. See, you love to make fun, and it did sting, but we are now back down to average or a bit above it, all thanks to BK. I am not happy about it, but that is what happens.

But, after getting large amounts of dough in exchange for the pay cuts (don't forget--$280,000 in one shot aint bad---it actually makes up for a lot---It is probably your salary times 3) and an additional $66,000 for that pension dump sure made it feel better. But, you can't see through the fog apparently. Time for a PAR.

25 minute turns. For some reason you can't add in there the actual money we all got in return for those pay cuts. Getting $280,000 all at once, and an additional $66,000 for the pension---how much of that can I add to each hour that I fly and not make it as bad? I don't want to do 6 legs a day in a 737 forever. Do you? You don't do that in a KC10. Let me guess? For the right pay you would do anything, right? Don't assume your Military pedigree will get you Southwest or Delta. You may get that RJ you so desire.

PAR? Man...I haven't done a PAR since you said that possible pay cuts would keep you guys out of Ch 11.

I'm sure Southwest or Delta will hire me. Between the two of them, I'll get a job. Not to mention UPS/Fed Ex who's pay you can't even come close to. I can't help but think my career earnings would be higher with SWA though (vs Delta). Sorry man....as it stands right now, they got you guys. I'm willing to go with whoever hires me first, even if that means Delta.

Hey, maybe you'll be my captian.

Wow, thanks Professor. How's Ginger and Marryann? Can you try to teach me Calculus too?

I understand the concept just fine.

Ok Maryann,

Here is your quote

It was interesting to see that LUV posted a $165 million profit last quarter, with fuel hedges bringing in $183 million. Without good hedging, it looks like LUV would be around $20 million in the red. Am I right on this? Thank gawd you have hedging. Good job for that.

Look at my quote again, I was asking a question. Can you read? "Am I right on this?" And boy, it caused you guys to get all in a huff. By the way, others were asking the same question, I was just the one who asked it. Thanks for clearing it up Mrs. Howell, and enjoy Sacramento.

Man alive, that would be a blast. Whenever I do upgrade and get an FO who flew KC10s, I will make him do two full walk arounds each leg just to get it "right." Nah, I wouldn't do that. I will buy the 3rd and 5th beers. Also, I hope you do get Fedex and UPS, and we still USED TO pay better than both of them. Can we do that again? I don't know, but I think we will raise our current rates. And SWA does have us beat right now pay wise, but you can BET that our negotiators will compare their 737 Captain pay and our 777 and 764 Captain pay, and I have a feeling ours will go above their's. It just makes sense, and without a BK judge nearby, I think it will go. Look at AA, they are asking for a 53% raise. Everyone will be watching them first.

Dude, you are by far the biggest joke on this board. Most on here (besides buffoons like instructorclown) realize no one is impressed by how many 767's you have domiciled in ATL. Flying an airliner is not impressive ok????? I know that is extremely hard for you to digest so please do your best. The things that flying an airliner DO provide (on varying scales) are QOL, compensation, and customer/employee service. SWA is absolutely head and shoulders above DAL in all 3 of those categories - and many more for that matter. Flying an ILS into ELP or flying an ILS into Venice is still flying an ILS - it's absolute brain dead work. However, what is nice is the fact SWA compensates you 50 dollars more an hour for doing it and treats the customer and its employees 10 fold better as well.

Catch a clue dude. No one cares nor is impressed with you or DAL.

I disagree. I think you are by far the biggest joke on this site.

Are you still trying to get on with FEDEX with all your buds, or did they turn you down again. LOL

just when you thought a thread couldn't possibly get any more worthless, pocono boy shows up and sets the new standard for worthlessness. are you and tanker clown tag teaming?

I maxed out at 172/hr on the 76 and I believe I was senior to you (02-27-97), plus the cap was typically near 80 hours. I rarely saw a 75 hour month. I thought the 12 year rate on the 767 is less than 110 now. That whole bit about making more by flying more is the same spiel they used to sugar coat the F/A's paycuts. It's not really a paycut because you can fly more and make it up...right. You made $280,000 on your BK claim?...really?...I've never heard that before:rolleyes:.
