Dec interview at NJ

Just got invited to interview at NetJets in December, got the App accepted email on Sep 27th for a TEB preference.
Thanks to everyone on the board for all the NJ info.
I am excited - hope I don't blow it.

How long (from when you mailed it) did it take for you to get the app accepted and did you get any sort of notice that they had received it prior to that.

It took close to a month for my app to be accepted, and about 3 months to be offered an interview.

as other's have mentioned previously the "app accepted" email came around 3-4 weeks after submitting the app - just thought I'd post to give people a time frame from "app accepted" to interview invite

log onto aviationinterviews.com and study all the experiences.. then answer every question on the interview with this thought process:

WHAT IS THE SAFEST OPTION
WHAT DOES THE OWNER WANT, AND IS THAT THE SAFEST OPTION

The oldest interview for FLOPS is from 9/21/05! Hmm tells you alot huh about how desirable flops is.

Flexjet, XoJet, Citation Shares, Dayjet, Gojet, NetJets, Avantair are all up to date in the posts.

Way to go FLOPS management team. Guess this wasn't in the Go Forward plan. Oops.

Wow I think they are moving quicker or I am just getting lucky. I recieved my application packet 5 days after I turned in my resume and cover letter. I just recieved my email that my application was accepted and I sent it in on the 19th. I am sure the long wait for a interview begins now !!!!

You should get an automated email response from pilot recruitment stating they received your resume. After that, you will receive the application (if selected) in the mail, in which you select domiciles. This information is a few months old and well before the new TA was brought up, so the process may have changed since. Good luck.

I never got a generated email that they got my resume should i send it again.

It can take several weeks before you get that email. If you don't get it within a month then you may want to email the recruiting department or send another completed app. Also be sure to check your spam folder in case the "app received" email ended up there.

My resume was received on 10/31; accepted on 11/09. I know it is irrelevant now but had selected DAL as my domicile.

Great job getting the X. Going from one of the slowest regional airplanes (Dash 8) to the fastest corporate jet should be interesting.

Were you offered a choice of different aircraft or just the X? That would be my choice if offered.

They offered me the XL or Encore +

and to CA1900 - TEB works very fine, they asked me what base I wanted to use. I live 15mins away from TEB.

I was offered the Ultra, Excel, and X (as memory serves, I was in the car and trying not to drive off the road in excitement). Those were the only choices given for the 1/7 class. I didn't ask about other class dates, just want to get started as soon as I can!

Should be a good challenge between the two aircraft.

Just wait until Indoc, once you have access to crewops you can change your base designation from there.
