You have a lot of misdirected anger.

Your company, Expressjet, was offered the flying but turned it down because they wanted to be an "all jet fleet". Your Union failed to negotiate a scope clause to prevent it. You union also negotiated a flow through with mainline that included the flow back provision, so despite your incredible growth, you guys have pilots on the street.

It seems to me there are a lot of people you should be angry at before being angry at the Commutair pilots.

Well Actually............CAL went to ALPA and said if you LET us do this than blah blah blah. So if ALPA had said NO than you would not have expanded into the CLE market. So 1/2 of your captains would still be F/O's sweetin' it out fo da man.

Snot the CA guys that gets my goat. Its the Express people who voted against it. They got a free ride to CA AND health bennies paid for by their union peeps and then slap us in the face. Remember it only lost by 13 votes.

8:am wake up for commute to work

9:am Catch mainline CAL flight to CLE. Sit in jumpseat and bash COEX and talk about how they have been f@!*ing mainline for years and they are finally getting to see what it's like to have someone picking up cities they used to serve and that it doesn't make sense for an RJ to fly to these cities anyway.

11:am- 5:pm work 4 legs and contemplate what your going to do with your wife when you get home tonight.

6:pm Catch mainline CAL flight home and resume bashing COEX with new mainline crew that feels the same as the morning crew who brought you to work.

8:pm Get home and log onto Calforums and look through threads of whining bitching COEX pilots who deny jumpseats because thay are unprofessional and have anger because the CommutAir pilots had the sense to understand that ALPA would not really benefit the CommutAir pilot group.

9:pm Go to bed with wife and thank god your not ALPA because you would probably be stuck in a crashpad in CLE sitting reserve.

Well since you can log into CAL FORUMS you must be a furloughed pilot. And since you have such a distaste for ALPA I bet you voted no.

Tell me how did you enjoy your medical bennefits that we paid for. Tell me, how do you enjoy the captains seat that you will be getting shortly while your "brothers" at coex still sit in the right seat? Those same brothers who helped afford you the opportunity to have a job.

You sir a worthless scum and I would rather fill my a/c with MESA pilots than the likes of you.

bottom line is this...

you get to wake up in the morning....and go fly airplanes and get PAID to do it. some chics even dig it too. compared to that, everything else is pure drivel.

Sour Grapes?!?!?

The fact of the matter is, Commutair and Mesa are places that are hiring, while our seniority number at XJet decline day by day.
Do not blame the XJet furloughees who went over to Commutair or Skywest. I'd have gone if I could have.
Nothin' like being a 4 and a half year FO at XJet sitting reserve for 2 years of that and 400 numbers lower than the day I started.
(sigh)

skootertrash.....you have some serious issues and need to get a life!

Well, that is obviously wrong. I am a three and a half year (fourth year pay) FO and I have only sat reserve for three weeks since getting hired. Also, I am in the top third of the FO list. And, my senority number has only gone back 200 numbers. Something in your post just does not jive.

And for guy that says that he bashes Express with CAL crews I seriously doubt that as well. Out of the four CAL bases, CLE is the most unified, pro-ALPA, stand-up guys in the bunch. They also know that when CA came in to CLE that just freed up more E145s to take over more 737 routes, unfortunately. As for all the furloughed pilots at CA that voted against ALPA, you might want to stay there. There is a very good chance that when you return to Express you WILL be declared a member in bad standing and all the privliges that it enjoys.

I'm done...

I'm not furloughed you dumb @ss. I was hired by CommutAir without any help from anyone and proud of it. I'm not Anti-ALPA but I don't believe for one minute that ALPA would have helped the CommutAir pilots one bit. If you actually worked here you would understand that it's just not that bad. The pay could be improved but even ALPA won't be able to fix that since our pay is better than most for 19 seat equipment. As for CalForums, anyone with a Continental ID can sign up for CalForums.

Tell me how did you enjoy your medical bennefits that we paid for.

Explain to me how you paid for medical benefits for the COEX guys when CommutAir pays full medical anyway.

Tell me, how do you enjoy the captains seat that you will be getting shortly while your "brothers" at coex still sit in the right seat? Those same brothers who helped afford you the opportunity to have a job.

I think somebody is jealous. Maybe we can negotiate a flow through for you from COEX to CommutAir.

You sir a worthless scum and I would rather fill my a/c with MESA pilots than the likes of you.

I will not stoop to your level and will offer my empty seats to all pilots and F/As. Welcome aboard to all. Pilots and Flight Attendants of COEX or any other airline are welcome to jumpseat on my aircraft anytime. That's right, we take flight attendant jumpseaters so tell your friends and don't waste money on the passes.

As for your first statement you are dead wrong. The owner of Calforums happens to be a good friend of mine. Only those pilots that are on the CURRENT CAL or CALEX senority list are allowed into Calforums. So, it seems that you are commiting fraud and I am sure Larry would love to find out who you are. I will be sure to tell him we have a lurker.

Now for your second statement, we paid for the furloughed pilots benefits while they were on the street BEFORE they were hired by CA. I have had plenty of guys at CA and Skywest thank me and the other Reps and NC's for getting them jobs.

Uh......okay.......What do you want my employee # to prove you I'm Coex.
I wont lie to you, I feel like a total outsider here. I was hired with 2100 hours and had far and away the most time in my new-hire class in '00. I'm just hoping for AWAC, PSA or Mesa to call me for an interview soon as I want out of XJet!
(There's just too much complaining and negativity here. It really sucks)

NO you BOOB. Commutair was hiring BECAUSE of the Expansion due to the CAL code share. Had ALPA not approved the code share CA wouldn't have expanded. We are only upset that the former Express pilots that went to CA stabbed their brothers in the back.

As for Capt Crunch. LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE.

Ive talked to enough Commutair crews in CLE and they all say they could haver cared less whether the Cleveland expansion happened or not. They said it just meant upgrade for some folks. They would have continued on just as before if the Cleveland flying had never happened. They looked at it as a favor to us, to keep those cities serviced for CAL.
I dont know, all I know is I'm sick to death of XJet and all the bad vibes and I want out. Mesa is hiring a lot right now I hear and I'm hoping to get over there and out of this pitiful ass backwards place! I am getting NOWHERE fast here!
You guys enjoy your 10-year regional career here! I'm done!

HHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

You know what enjoy your time at MESA. A sell out like you will fit in well.

And about your comment that CA was doing CAL a "favor" by serving the cities that we couldn't. Lets see. Prior to the code share you had XXX amount of FO's. AFTER the code share, all FO's on property are now captains. So instead of making 23K a year they no make ....what 35K a year.

Ya I bet they really care less. Hey, moron........thats the goal of the game.........UPGRADE.

Have fun at MESA, go save them.

I don't need access to CalForums to know that your still a bunch of whiners. We don't give a sh!t about your so called permission to fly into CLE. You all act as if you own the flying. If that was the case then why didn't you keep your props. CAL would have found a way to get the turboprop feed with or without ALPA permission. CommutAir in CLE is good for everyone but some of you people just don't get it. You think that the feed doesn't help Xjet and CAL's loads? You think you should fly those routes with your RJ? I know your upset that the plan to bring furloughed COEX pilots to try and sway the ALPA vote backfired but you really can't blame them. There are places that need ALPA and places that don't and you can't blame these guys for making an informed deciscion when they decided ALPA is not for CommutAir. Just cause COEX thinks we need ALPA doesn't mean we at CommutAir feel the same.

Exactly. "Upgrade IS the name of the game."
And sadly something that Coex is just not affording us anytime soon!

"Go save Mesa?!?" I hear they are doing just fine without needing anyone to save them!

I'm just tired of the cruddy weather in Newark and the even more cruddy attitudes within this company!
