Thanks. One more for ya.
Did NYC have about the same number of unfilled seats for the 88.
im just trying to see how this plays out for this next class. i heard that the nov class was all 7ER and the plan was Dec to be all 7ER.. do u guys who are experienced in this think it will stay the same or will it be different..trying to do a little planning ahead
oh no kidding another AE.. Forgive me but I am not too sure what exactly the AE is and how it works. Does an AE occur every 3 months all the time or is it while the company is in its new hire mode
Do you have to wait for an AE to change domicile but not change equipment? If you are 7ER at JFK and want to stay on the 7ER but be domiciled in LAX can you just put in for that on next month's bid or do you need to wait for an AE?
Have you thought about just commuting till you could hold something in LA. If you like LA and want to live there I would say to give it a shot. It seems like it would be more of a hassle and stressfull to move for your family. The way things sound you should be able to hold something out west (LA or SLC) pretty quick. At least within 6 months or so. Commuting isn't fun, but looking at the big picture it's doable. I do the ATL-LAX commute and it's not great but it can be done for a finite period of time. That makes sense Michael. Thanks for the explanation.
I'm in the December 3rd class and hear it will likely be all 7ER to JFK. I think that will be great but I live in California now and it will probably take a while to sell the house and move. If there is another AE in Jan or Feb and I get awarded a 767 in LAX how long would it be until I'm domiciled in LA? How long does it take for a change to take effect? Is there any way to know that now or would I just have to wait and see?
