CRJ 200 loud popping sound

I have never heard that before. I heard from our test pilot at here at Pinnacle, who used to work for Bombardier and was involved in the development of the CRJ, that It's the oleo extension expanding in the nose gear.

Pinnacle has a test pilot? It also somehow amuses me that he is wrong.

As previously mentioned, " migrating bushings " was the term used back when I was flying the CRJ-100/200 's at Comair. Located some where in the wing spar attachment area. I have heard that loud "pop" or "bang" hundreds of times, which kinda sounds as if a flight attendant slammed the service cart into the galley behind the FO's seat. Can be so loud, kinda scary to think about.
