You know I lub's ya Chris

Hey ChrisJ32....

You and I dissagree on political views, and this time is not different. BOILERUP .... Hit the nail on the head.... Well said.

Chris. You talk about gun control in the UK and violent crimes being so low. Well .. I think that you are missing the point.... The reason gun related crimes are so low in the UK may not have to do with the fact that guns are not allowed. Maybe it is because the laws punishing gun related crimes are stricktly enforced. As far as the DEM's being for Gun Control.. Maybe the bigger issue is to not let the Liberals in this country give so many rights to people who are guilty of commiting these types of crimes. I say lets get rid of the political party system and have a candidate ( JUST ONCE ) who does not care about being LEFT or RIGHT, but has a belief and a GOOD PLAN to fix what is wrong with this country. Lets face it, Guns dont kill, People Kill. Taking guns away is not going to fix this problem.. However .. Locking someone away for the rest of their life with NO chance of getting out, Will .. Just my opinion.
As far as the right for individuals to carry guns, I do not think that the law is outdated. It is something that our nation was founded on. Having too much control placed on the people that you are supposed to represent amounts to Dictatorship and not Democracy.

As far as your stand on Taxes? I agree.. I do not need that $4.00 every month .. Pay off the debt and quit these sub commities to investigate all of the things that have no effect on our county. So Bill Clinton boned some intern.. Did that drive up the price of gas??? But how much money did we waist on trying to figure out what happened? .. I personally would like some of that money back.. Now if a leader does something that directly effects this country, our national security or anything that could harm me? Then yea. Lets look into it. There is just way too much waist in governmet ATM to justify me paying more in taxes... I would like to see a flat tax.. Get rid of the IRS and the BS that goes on in that portion of the Federal Govt.

JOBS... I cant argue with you on this one. I think that wages are too low. But the only option is to drive up the minimum wages and thus drive up the end cost of a product.. (BIG MACK) Then the cycle starts all over again. I do not have any sugestions on how to fix this. Maybe a flat tax for businesses also ?? Not sure.......

EDUCATION... Agreed. Keep the money here .. Im not going to say "To hell with everyone else" or "I dont care what happens to the childeren in Iraq" but lets help ourselvs first. Then we can help others if there is enough left over. Get some of our own childeren off of the streets.

FOREIGN POLICY... I cant agree with you there. What were we suposed to do ? Just let all of the hate and bombings and murders go un punished? . We are not the police department for the world but when the UN wants to give a leader who is not quite playing with a full deck of cards, SEVERAL opportunities to come up with documentation saying that he is NOT developing WMD's, and he does not comply?? Then someone needs to step in .. I dont think that our tax dollars should go to financing the rebuilding of Iraq.. I think that the funds should come from the sale of their oil to the world.. As far as France goes.. FU#K them.. If they do not want to support getting rid of such a radical who kills his own people and finances the terrorist attacks against others, then fine.. They are excluded from any of the rebuilding contracts that will result from the security of Iraq. As far as OPEC goes? Those Saudi Bastards can keep their oil and we will buy directly from Iraq.. I am tired of paying higher prices for gas because OPEC has slowed production in an attempt to raise the price per barrel of oil to over $40.00. In my opinion, WE ( THE USA ) Should look closely at what is really going on in Saudi Arabia. It is my opinion that they are more corrupt than the general public is aware.

SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE... Hrmmm So I guess that you are one of those individuals who wants to take " ONE NATION UNDER GOD " out of our pledge of allegiance. or "IN GOD WE TRUST" off of our nations currency. WOW I did not think that you would even go there. These are some of the core beliefs that this country was founded on. This Liberal banter of being PC is going to run this country into the ground. Just dont offend anyone. Lets all be nice. THat is BU11 SH1T. I am so tired of trying not to offend a specific group that I am sick of it. We dont want to offend anyone who does not believe in god. Well what about the people that do? What gives the Liberals the right to change what our Founding Fathers did to separate us from Tyrany. If you are ever in a position to be in court and have to testify, then you have to put your hand on a bible and swear to tell the truth "So help you God". Our ForeFathers were God fearing individuals. Maybe the nations departure from these beliefs is the real problem that we should be addressing.

I agree with BoilerUp .. The view of "ANYONE BUT GWB FOR PRESIDENT" is reckless. But no matter what I think.. The blood that has been spilled in the name of FREEDOM, has been taken in, in exchange for you to have the right to believe what you want.

I was wondering the same thing. Has anyone else given a letter of resignation yet??? I have not heard.
And the union from what I understand will be contacting people after the 4th of July weekend.

Chris... Dont feel that this is an attack on you personaly .. I consider you a friend and would feel honored to fly with you at any time. The above statements are just how I feel.
See ya soon ...

ChrisJ32
wasn't yelling at you aboutturbine time, sorry, I got the wrong
screen name, Crizz asked about training contracts, gear_guy was
objecting to someones comment about the low time people that
we are interviewing...some more of my bad typing! nothing about
you bro...

And the bottom line about why the government is running a deficit
is that they are doing too many things that they have no business
being involved in. Like caving in to liberals that have never been to
Alaska to keep us from taping into our own d@mn oil!

As for indescision...the aircraft analogy is not really viable. Mr. Kerry
had hours to debate the situation in the senate, voted one way,
then changed his mind, where in an aircraft there is not the luxury of
the lengthy debate.

We do not need that kind of wishywashy leadership!

See ya

Are we done yet?

I have tried and tried to get Chris to see the light and I gave up! But that is the great thing about this country is that all the poor bastards that disagree with me have that right and I choose to ignor them :D.

Now can we get back to the subject of the thread?

JET PIGS UNITE!!!!!

"Can't we all just get along"- Rodney King
Chris wouldn't you like to use that 9mm to rid the gene pool of pepole like him? :D

Ok ok .. Im siding with JonnyZ.

The only thing clinton was good at was
getting out of trouble and convincing the
great ignorant masses that his lies weren't
really lies...and taking credit for an economic
recovery that started a quarter before he was
elected. I am not aware of a single thing he did
that was positive. I think that kerry is the same
kind of person. I think that he changed his
mind to better fit the profile of a lilly-livered
liberal...JMHO. And GWB is responsible for the
price of gas how? What about OPEC?

But the real question is has anyone else quit yet?

see ya

I am starting to think managment may be right, it sounds like every one is bit**ing just to bit**.

Rember there is purpose here!!!

Yeah, what JonnyZ said.

I heard from LAF's ex-manager the other day and he confirmed that most the people we knew best had bailed to greener pastures. And good for them.

Anybody else quit yet? I can almost smell the trip-and-duty rigs, higher per-diem, and 3+/hr raise to go along with released longevity pay.

Wait a sec, that might be the company I smell burning...my bad

And lets make it SEVEN pages for Corpex! Booyah biayoch!

Ok, I think we're beating a dead horse here ya'll. However, I would like to put a couple things to bed.

First off instructors with no turbine time are usually the strongest pilots we get, not check haulers. I can say this cause I've been been traing our folks for a few months now and I've seen this.
Second, we are not interviewing people with 400 hours. In fact the lowest time folks we have given interviews to have been "highly recommended" by you guys!!!!! And I can say this cause I've been interviewing 'em too. So no rumor, thems the facts.

If I get any of you complaints incorrect or out of context...sorry. I found it very difficult to get the high points out of some of your excrutiatingly long and excessive rantings. ;)

Last, but not least. I'd like to remind eveyone to stay away from the koolaid, and out of the Tequila too.
I think it's about time for last call anyway!

Dead Horse Beating Conference

Sorry dude,
Wasn't pointing any fingers. But 7 pages! Some of us obviously have too much spare time on our hands.

7 pages and only one way off the mark,
truly amazing especially for 121 carrier
maximus incognitus!

ChrisJ32...read the cancer statement.
Serious issues with what you consider
treatment...as a Captain and instructor
you know that a leader needs to act
on his convictions. I don't think that
kerry is capable on acting on anything
but polls. JMHO.

Jetscreamdriver. You don't have the
depth of experience to make that
statement! And while I made a
generalization, and have flown biatch
to some former instructors that were
amongst the best CA's that corpex will
ever have, none were MTSU
flowthroughs. I hope that I am lucky
enough to follow them. At any rate,
good luck, cause you really need it!
And with one or two exceptions,
I'll fly with the old paragon types,
ramair, flight express, body part
snatchers and people that have
experience working the airplane
BTW, guys like that, aren't they
skipping corpex now and going
to CHQ and TSA?
Seeya!

Hey Belch,
I may not have a huge depth of experience here, but it doesn't take too long to see how well different types of folks do in training. And for the line, well I've flown with enough of our Captains (and FOs) to see how the different backgrounds (CFI vs. check-hauler) translate into overall skill and capability. The fact of the matter is everyone is about the same, regardless of what they did before their 121 job. I'm sick of people who were not instructors talking bad about instructors, I never hear the opposite.
I don't really care what you think about my experience, you really have no idea about it. I've seen enough to be in the position I'm in and I'll never sweat an instructor, who has a legitimate background (cause you can buy a CFI and be an idiot),on their ability to get through class and perform on line. That is my point.
I don't claim to have a high level of experience in any of these matters. I have as much, and in many cases more than the rest of you though.

I think I'll hide behind my screen-name this time...

1) This as I understand is a Republic,
not a democracy.

2) I referance you to FDR's handling
of staying out of WWII till we got bombed
jumping on the public opinion bandwagon,
declaring war on japan then, instead of
protecting the interests of this republic
and (the lives of) our servicemen in the
pacific, allowed Churchill to convince him
to end the war in Europe first...thereby
abandoning thousands of American
Servicemen to the Japaneese.

There are cases where no amount of
diplomacy will solve the issue. In those
times it is vital to have a leader that does
what is best for the Republic. J. Hanoi
Kerry lacks that resolve.

END OF DISUCSION!

See ya

Belch

Okay, You left out republic,
so I left out the democratic!
Truly a Democratic Republic and
if Saddam was in charge here
we would not have had this lively
debate!

ps. waiting for the big email!
I think we're trying! Skyypimp?

jetscreamdriver and J32

J32, you know the story about me and
one of the former flight instructors.
I know that you instructed, don't think
you did the doggie thing, but I know
whatyou were instructing in, and it wasn't
a 172.

jetscreamdriver...sorry! "Depth of
experience" sounds like an attack, and I'm
sorry, didn't mean it that way. You just
have not flown with some of the guys
that I flew with. And probably won't.
I hold in very high esteem some pilots,
male and female, from the freight and
instructor camps. Maybe it is a clan
thing, but no CA ever agrivated me as
much as one that was an instructor, and
no first officer ever rattled me as much
as one that had been an instructor. I said
(I thought) that it was my experience.
Hell, F-14 pilots have what, 350 hrs? It
would be tough for me to go and try to
land on a carrier!

Instructors are God, y'all know the old
t-shirt?

No old frieght dogs have rattled me,
regardless of the seat I was in.

Belch,
I guess I'm a little too accustomed to personal attacks lately, apology accepted. In my defense of instructors I did not intend to bash freight guys. Two of the best guys I ever had the pleasure of flying with and learning from I am following in the training department. And I do have big shoes to fill.

I think this poor, dead horse has been beaten enough, I'm going to have a beer.

welcome to page 8!

jetscreamdriver...yours is the last hq
department I hold in high esteem, and
er, all y'all 're instructors! Ha on me!
You really do have big shoes to fill,
I know those guys! The pressure is
on (big time) to maintain some very
high standards...unlike the crew room!
The wish for luck was sincere.

Please keep the standards up, cause
we're going to end up with new CA's
and FO's real soon if we're going to
stay in business! Serious as a heart
attack! Don't let the brain trust
cheat you out of any sim/aircraft
training time you think that someone
needs.

By the time someone gets through
upgrade most traces of their previous
flying jobs should have been beaten
out of them anyway. :)

First things first;

Good morning, Fred. How was your (long) weekend?

ChrisJ, if you were as smart as you think you are (or as smart as Jacques Kerry thinks HE is) would you still be working at a half-bit airline like 3C?

Belch, if Looneyworld is the LAST HQ department you hold in high esteem, then I really hope your scheduler doesn't read about it here. Who knows who else has hurt feelings about that, too. Not everybody in MQY is a toady, you know. And sucking up to Jetscreamdriver? You must have a PC coming up, or recurrent, or both.

If you guys are really serious about changing ANYTHING at 3C, you have to hit them where they think. In the wallet, about two inches further aft than you were thinking they thought from. Now come on, if you wanna b**ch, then b**ch, but if you are gonna try and get some real change, then act, don't talk.

Just a few meandering thoughts of dubious value. And no, you can't leave ....

10early?

P.S.(Goodbye Fred)

hey, ChrisJ

First things first. Good morning, Fred.

I may have sounded too harsh in my (hopefully) good-natured jab at you. I like you. Your politics, however........ And my apologies to Mr. Chirac, errr, Kerry. Again, I like a little Ketchup now and then. He should stick to that. Well, he did, at first, but then he changed his mind.
And no, training is not management. They have way too much common sense to be management. BTW, congrats on the new job. Maybe now you can afford a life, and not hang out in internet message boards all the time.

Out.
