We only have 5 destination (soon to be 6) Why would you? Now, having said that. The folks that do the rosters are pretty accommodating

Yes, you really just bid for days off but if you do it ahead of time (last minute requests are a problem for the scheduler) I haven't had a request denied so far

Fly-drink-drink some more, rest fly. Just kidding (about the flying part) It is an easy gig man

I'm using my vacation days two at a time every month and getting 12 days in a row (10 at home and two commuting, I'm also using the business class option)

Hello Dump Pilot,

While working for AJV/AJX, do you have the capability of:
1. trip trading/ dropping trips?
2. Bidding on different monthly schedules?
3. What is a average work month like?
4. How many days off in the US do you normally have?

Thanks

During the 18 days you're "in country" what would you say a typical month is like - how many of those days are you "off", how many on a layover, how many days long are the trips? Aside from the obvious financial issues, how feasible is it to take your wife back and forth with you to Japan every month and have her hang out there while you fly? 10 days sounds a little short on the marriage.

Your family has ZED fairs available to them so you can take them anywhere you want within the star alliance system. Visitors visas in Japan are good for 90 days

So does unemployment

For you contract guys/gals, does this seem like a decent contract for a 744 position? I’m considering making the jump to the contract world; any feedback you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

If you are current and qualified in the B737 please send me a private message with email address and phone number. I may be looking for crews to fly in Europe ASAP.

Thank you!
