She's only a G-tard and she runs her mouth like that? Unfrickinbelieveable! FWIW, I hope she's right about taking over from Mesa, but that would mean UAL actually has to give a crap about quality, not likely IMHO.
 
Are you talking about Pukono as a G-tard, meaning He/She got hired in 2005? How do you know that? I'm very interested. I believe it's a guy from FedEx or UPS that got dumped during the interview, but still harbor's feelings. I'm not sure how you get the G-tard for her/him?
 
Allright, let's disagree on everything but this. I totally agree that UAL for all pratical purposes is a powerhouse. This quarter has been exaggerated and would be a lot different if you had any other CEO! (you could hire satan to run UAL and be better off!!) If Tilton was serious about sqwaking 1200 completely to get this deal done, then I wish Larry would have gone ahead with it for that reason alone. I do wish this merger would have been a good thing. I hope Larry knows what he's doing, and I hope UAL goes on to do very well, like it rightfully should. I must insist on some credit for CAL ALPA, however. They did a pretty good job and didn't try to pull any stunts. That's all.


Don't forget last quarter results still did not have all the raised fares to adjust for high fuel. They are still rasing fares to represent this fuel thing too.
Hopefully next quarter results will be different.
I guess what we all learned it that we don't really know what is going on. Some on this board claimed they knew the "day" that the merger with CAL would happen...like they had inside info or something...I guess they did not.
Just because they are talking with US Air does not mean that will happen either.
Like I have said before, the ones that predict the fall of United because of not merging with CAL ...usually are the ones that either did not get called or got turned down.....get over it if that is you.

I'm just assuming Poke-a-hole's a G-tard because Hagen said she wasn't even at Express yet during the flowback years.

I wouldn't worry too much about us. We have been trying to get rid of the CAL anchor forever. Just wait until Mesa goes out of business and XJT picks it all up from United. I bet we keep the 51 planes. You'll see.
Why do you think xjt even exists? You need to read the capacity purchase agreement in full. anchors away...

Why would anyone complain about being on the panel at fedex or ups? Think about it.

I know, I hear ya, I really do. I can't understand it either, but from the get go I never bought the arrogant chick thing. The crap always tried to piss everyone off at CAL only. Then a couple of months back or so, someone came on and said I know who it is and it's a guy on the panel for UPS or FedEX. I thought from that, WHY! Who in their right mind,...... Hold on, there's the answer. Screwing with folks, loving life, cashing the checks.

That's all I've got starksky, but I think I'm on to something!
