Wrong on both counts there. You get paid monthly guarantee starting with indoc and are provided single occupancy hotel while in Montreal. Only exception is that you cover your hotel for the 4 days of indoc in MSP.

Sounds like a GREAT place to work, with benefits GALORE!

What do you want? Compass isn't Southwest.

I want a certain small percentage of professional pilots to someday realize that they are PROFESSIONAL pilots! If that ever happens, then we'll all be better off!

I ran into D.C (Compass Hiring guy) on a NWA flight. He all but admitted alot of sunshine was being blown somewhere during the Compass interview process! I give him credit for having the guts to admit it!

BTW, alot of people believe Southwest isn't FedEX or UPS! Some comparisons are pointless! IMHO

This from someone who evidently has worked under Omni's payscale. Just curious, do you include yourself in this certain small percentage?

No I DON'T! For the simple reason I don't get defensive when someone calls a turd a turd!

Sure hope my Negotiating Committee remembers to state that hotel rooms during training will be single occupancy, otherwise, who know what will happen!

You haven't seen what goes on in some of the contract providers these days I take it.

Hmmm... I haven't heard about this guy. Or maybe I have? Can you divulge his initials?

Look at the source as this guy flies for Omni where DC10 Captains make $90 with basically no work rules. I looked into that place when XJ was hurting and I couldn't run away fast enough.

Thank you for understanding this and spreading the word.

There isn't ONE pilot at Compass who likes the fact that he or she is flying a flight that should be a mainline leg.

If it weren't for the corrupt bankruptcy mess it still would be a mainline leg and both Compass pilots and Northwest pilots want it to be mainline.

Ok, then Compass Pilots would be outta a job, right?
That does not seem to be what you would want. Are you a pink slipped NWA pilot? Or are you a Compass Pilot that wants to work for NWA? If the latter is correct then of course you want it to be a mainline flight. First, at the cost of a mainline flight. That was ok for you. Then, one list me cause it should of been a mainline flight to start with. Right? Not trying to be confrontational. Just trying to understand your logic. It sounds like your just trying to get along with the big boys. Hoping they will like you so you could fit in. Explain, please.

Your post there is very difficult to understand. The words are really confusing.

But basically all I mean is exactly what I said in your quote of me.

Compass pilots don't like the fact that they are flying routes that used to be DC-9 flights (just like most other contract pilots [SkyWest, Mesa, ExpressJet, etc.] don't either). It represents a better career job (major airline) gone forever. BUT, they have no control over it. They weren't the ones that changed the scope at mainline.

If you don't understand that, I don't know how else to say it.
