Yep. I'm willing to bet (a double double at In N Out)I've been at SKYW longer than you've been at ASA. I've seen three(?) ALPA drives, a Teamsters drive, and an in house drive. When do you suppose that ALPA will give up? Three drives? Wow.
Spend more time in the crew room...........whatever. Nice assumption, but you don't know me, nor what I'm about.
You tell me that we are too soft on the union thing and then write that you have too many pilot carrying around the company on their backs? Ummmm yeah.
Explain to me how we could have "refused" the -700 flying. Told SGU to pound sand? Then what? I'm not checked out on the thing, but if SGU says "go get trained", guess what? As it stands right now, I have to if I want to have a job at the end of the day. We don't have a CBA type contract that is nationally recognized to back us up........right now. All SAPA could do was say "we want x amount to fly the -700. SGU says "no". SAPA says "niice wall paper." SAPA is a paper tiger, and nothing more, but we're trying to change that.
But of course I'm full of BS so what do I know?
