That is so *%&#ing ridiculous it's actually not surprising coming from that political sham of a division called homeland security. Just think folks, any of us could end up on that list, but we can't be told why, or how, or what list we're even on in the interest of 'national security'. What a bunch of crap.

Although it's waayyyy too much to hope for, I hope they win their suit big.

nothing in that article makes sense. Why did it say that Colgan was going to fire him? If being on the "list" occured prior to his being hired, Colgan wouldn't have hired him - nor would he have passed the FBI background check. If he got on the list after being hired, then what did he do? Obviously something serious enough to be terminated. Need more deets!

all I could think of was that he could not commute in to work??? but that would be an ass backwards commute for him to HAVE to list and get caught by the no-fly list...

He's looks gay as hell and his wife is fugly. I feel bad for him, but d@mn his wife is ugly.

I always get a kick out of these white Muslim converts.

He wants to look and act the Muslim part and keep his job. His beard is groomed like a true Muslim, just missing that red dye on the beard. I'm pretty sure he was a clean shaven guy on the flight deck.

He's just an angry guy somehow looking to sue. I bet his muslim wife helped hatch a plan to get on this list, lose his job, try to litigtate it back and sue for big bucks in the end.

Unbelievably childish and immature comments to a serious issue. And you are calling yourself airline pilots? Ha!

Have to admit, usually I don't have a problem with the twisted humor around here but this does seem to go a bit far.

Anyone want to wager how many pages this goes or how long before the mods lock it down?

We don't need any terrorists on our flight decks. I hope the government wins.

Whatever happened to...

...innocent until proven guilty. If you're an American citizen, you still have your constitutional rights. If you're being put on a list that adversely affects your ability to be a productive member of society, you have every right to know why you are on that list and who is putting you on that list.

Since when does an airline pilot have to be adult in nature and, heaven forbid, mature?

The government put him on that list for good reason. I trust that. This guy is lucky that he isn't awaiting trial in Gitmo. Another 9/11 thwarted.
