Since the truth is now out about Colemill Enterprises,it seems that some do not like the truth, which is common all throughout society today.2000 years ago the truth wasn't liked either,6000 years ago in the the time of abraham, the truth was still not liked, and why is that?????? Because truth is BRUTAL.From truth you get the facts, and facts point the finger of culpability at those responsible.
For any pilot to be FIRED for FOLLOWING FAR PT.135 regs.,not violating regs, could be a violation in itself. You just have to wonder if Marion Blakey,Administrator,F.A.A.would know about such things,or what about the reg'l FSDO office in ATL????? How about a Company Ops manual with false claims????
Any pilot that is worth 2 cents needs to know that if a pilot is fired, and the pilot is in a protected age group( 40 yrs. plus) and is replaced by YOUNGER and LESS QUALIFIED personnel, then this VIOLATES the FEDERAL AGE DISCRIMINATION ACT.
This Is what I have been told and I am quite certain can be proved.Do we know how to spell C-O-U-R-T,or L-I-T-I-G-A-T-I-O-N,how about E-E-O-C?????????
It is obvious Colemill Enterprises needs an EDUCATION!!!!!!!
What do you suppose it would be worth to upper management at Colemill Enterprises to stay out of court???? to keep their Pt135 certicate???????? Do you suppose a 5 digit number or 6 digit number???????????It could be called an out -of-court settlement. It happens all the time.

Never underestimate the benefits of a good college english class when attempting a cogent argument.

G-Force,

I haven't read the first post but after reading the second post I'm guessing your an older pilot that got fired by Colemill yes?

We are using cover sheets on all our TPS reports

Now G-Force, let's get a few facts straight. I believe you went to Colemill claiming to have a ga-zillion hours in King Air and other aircraft. Also claiming you had'nt flown in a few months. Yet, when you got in the left seat of their King Air, you needed help on getting the thing started. I also believe that you got called down twice for unsuitable comments to female nurses and female passengers. Then you were fired when you spouted off to a set of very important passengers.
Since leaving Colemill, you sure seem to have a problem with finding your place again in the aviation buisness and it seems to all be because of these big bad companies that you are picking along the way. It would be better, and more straight forward if you would just let everyone on this site know that you are one bitter and angry man with a well developed bad attitude. For sure you are not the expert that you lead everyone to believe. The aviation world is making big strides to rebound and Colemill is doing their part to help out. They are flying seven aircraft, 2 Navajo and 5 King Air, and employing 15 pilots. They are a very well known company, not with out a few problems, but at least one of the problems is gone. I think it is great to have a forum like this for helpful imformation but be sure and be as Fox News say, Fair and Balanced.

So now Colemill has appointed you as Chief SPIN DOCTOR???????????
You sound like just another KOOL-AID Drinker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get it right!

Dear, Scooby-Doo or Kool-Aid drinker what ever you call your self.Let"s get a few facts straight on Colemill Enterprises.I have talked with numerous pilots that have worked there enough to know that maintenance is bad on there aircraft. Nothing is ever written up and that pilots are pushed to break there duty times. I have also heard that the FAA are looking into these allegations among others.Being a company man like yourself and saying that you are fair and balanced unfortuntily will not save you from any certificate action or violations.Colemill Enterprises is a bottom feeder like most 135 operators get over it.

The main reason for my post is in response to the man who calls himself "G-force". I might stand up for Colemill, but I will not stand up for G.F. It is easy to slam a company who fires you. And when those of you who listen to G.F. need to know what kind of man he is. Judging a company based on hear say is not the best thing. There is 15 pilots there now who are glad to be there. No doubt Colemill is not a perfect place but they are out there doing it everyday as they have for 60 yrs. I believe they got started when G. F. was about 6 yrs. old. I think if you were able to talk to G.F.'s ex wives, as you do other pilots ,I think you would see what I am talking about. Always go to the source. Thanks for being here.

To scoop-dydo

You don't know anything about any ex-wives of mine, because there is only one and nobody has seen her and certainly not you,Kool-Aid drinker. So why not just have some more Kool-Aid but this time use a Bleach chaser,RB did this, now I know what happened to him,he got all effed -up drinking bleach.
If you think that Colemill is the STANDARD by which all other 135 operators should be measured,I would say ,God I hope not,and you Kool-Aid drinker are living in a dream world. And you are working in a 134.5 operation.

methinks scoop-dydo protest too much.

DYDO-DUDE:

I don't get here much, but I had a charter certificate. I know the deal. The pressure to write checks for parts when payroll is due.

You've obviously got an ax to grind with G-force. Sure, he's pissed. I see there is actually another poster who agrees they're an outfit that skimps on maintenaance or continues flying the trip without a write up or non safety of flight issue.

At the 121 level I see it all the time. dispathchers begging you if you can bring er back to base.

There's pressure to finish the trip and write it up. If it's a broke airplane, then it's a broke airplane.

My beef with you is you have gone into specific detail about the nature of the man's firing and yes, you have judged him. You've also asked for Colemill not to be judged.

Sounds suspicious to me. If all 15 of you are happy, then great. Do you think anyone isn't smart enough to ask around if they sought a job with you. This website would hardly convince me whether or not to go there.

POINT: You have to see for yourself.

I would reconsider attacking someone like you did. Hey it's a free speech website right.

your cause may have been better served by refraining from posting that personal attack.

Looks more like a problem between you and him. Did you fly together?

To climbhappy

Amen, brother,Amen to you.For you have hit the nail on the head.Sounds like the best NO SPIN ZONE that I have seen on this website.

To Springfieldjone

If you think that is the case, then your mind is dead,I mean very dead. You are working far too much, doing your job and the DO's because all the DO does is sit around watching GOLF on the golf channel all day long.Give yourself a break!!!before you work yourself into the ground. It might be time to start looking around for another position.

G-Force sounds like Colemill Enterprises will never be a career job.The place sounds like another 135 Bottom Feeder. It is always good when a crappy company like this one is exposed.Peace out!

How can Colemill be a bottom feeder? It's the best paying King Air company in the area. You can actually make a living there and have a descent schedule to boot.

To Springfieldjone

Like the post from "climbhappy" if things are so great, then why are you losing 2-3 pilots in the next week or two????????

Springfieldloser Wake Up !

As you can see from all the post on this sight about Colemill Enterprises. This is a company no one in there right mind would ever want to work.Unless you have had some sort of certificate action and no other operator will hire you. This place is a Bottom Feeder and from all the honest post sounds like it is not going to change any time soon!

Every pilot has his niche. Some pilots might be happier elsewhere. You just have to keep looking until you find your dream job. I'm still looking for mine. You know, good money but I don't have to do much work for it. It's like looking for the perfect woman. I'm still looking for her too. She must be over 50, (protected by nature) on welfare, (so I don't have to work) living in the projects, ( so I don't have to pay rent) and she can't mind doing laundry and cooking while I watch TV all day. haha I'm still looking.

Colemill Enterprises Benefits!

I heard that Colemill Enterprises was now offering free golf lessons and Grand Ole Opry tickets in there latest employment package. This along with flying wonderful and well maintained old aircraft all of the time. You will get some sort of violation or certificate action but this is a wonderful opportunity to work for a Bottom Feeder 135 operation!

To PilotGuy138

Thanks for the post, its nice to have some support. It seems that alot of 135 charter operators want to make up their own rules under 134.5 rather than comply with 135 FAR's.I have never lost a job because I followed the regs.also I never saw anyone else lose their job because they went on an interview for another job,but it happened at this operator at M88,Nashville.It appears that un-professional practices, unethical conduct and an all around dump all over the pilots attitude are the rule rather than the exception in the On-demand PT.135 charter industry.I have put this bad experience behind me an will move on to alot better operator.
You and I both,it would appear are ex-residents of good ole Lincoln,Ne.So we know about that operator at LNK and the way they treated pilots.
Keep the dirty side down.
Good luck,brother.

It looks like all the loud mouth pilots on this site have nothing more to say about Colemill Enterprises!!!!!!! I hope BNC shoots nothing less than 170 on his next 500 golf games.Later Dude.

To springfieldjone

Since it would seem by your posts on this site that you are an employee & pilot for this company,if these other posts are true, then the mgmt. of your company has absolutely no respect for any pilot at anytime. This pilot is not surprised that you have openings there, and they will probably go unfilled for a longtime.
