You probably meant "bite me a-hole" but once again you biffed it.

Oh and I know who I am and that's all that matters.

Good Luck COEX

Good luck guys, I hope it all works out. You are in a good position in that your company is one of the few still making money, however, I'm not sure that you will ever really have the opportunity to use your leverage. I'm convinced that the NMB will never release you from Mediation as long as GWB is in office. Like it or not the NMB is highly politically influenced. If GWB has a federal government agency that can effectively eliminate the right to strike from a union's arsenal you can bet that is what will happen. You can look forward to endless mediation that will go nowhere, maybe for years. Unless you can accept your management's positions and reach an agreement without a release you will remain in NMB "limbo" forever I'm afraid. As long as the Republicans are in office strikes by airline industry labor groups are a thing of the past.

Management wants to expand but they can't get financing if they don't know how much labor will cost, that is our leverage. The CEO at the last shareholders meeting had questions asked by attendees regarding the labor issues, specifically when will they be finalized so we can move on. Up to this point the waiting game has worked in managements favor. As it drags on that advange will shift in favor of labor.

We'll be getting our last jet in about a years time so we'll stop growing up it's delivery. You never want to stop a moving force (growth) and hope you can rebuild momentum later while everyone else is still expanding. There are markets out there still up for grabs and we'll have to have something in place before that last delivery if XJet will be able to pursue those routes.

Your right, the NMB has the ability to take a lot of wind out of our sails but even without the threat of a strike our management has a timetable to keep and unanswered contracts will stop them in their tracks.

Um, he was talking about the thread starter.

I don't know what you're referring too but anything that starts off with "a friend who knows someone who heard" is BS unless it involves Ferris Bueller.
