Are school bad in Guam and do they have direct flights to the US?Also what kind of trips?

I was flying with a Preferrential Interview Guy about a month ago and he's heading to CAL and he was toying with the Guam thing. Seems that you get 2nd year pay from the outset and Intl Per diem (obviously) But he wasnt sure it was a good idea because the public schools out there are not that great... at least that is what he was told by the CAL IAH CP FWIW. But there is always private school ya know. I think CAL does a good job with their Guam people from what I have been told. I'm not sure if you would fly a trip out of Guam on the 738 to the US but I'm pretty sure there are direct US mainland flights on CAL. Most peopl who I have heard rave about it and want to go are single males with an adventure bug in their pants or hip pocket whatever.

No direct flights from mainland. Must go through Narita or Honolulu. Narita is easier (because of Honolulu loads), but longer.
