enigma, I apologize for my initial response to you- I should have let it go or PM'd you-I was mad for I also knew one of the pilots on that plane.
However:
Service, PGH and flyboy--Enigma was within his rights to post what he did. He wasn't accusing anyone of anything
Anyone can post anything on a public forum such as this. And I can vent at that person if I don't like what he says. "Speculation" is one thing, but what enigma was talking about I would expect from CNN/FOX/MSNBC in their usual ignorant, chicken little style of reporting.
If I offended some of the "old hands" on the board- too bad. Seniority on this forum has nothing to do with the intellingence/stupidity/validity of one's opinion.

PS-Martinair still manages CC's planes.

Service--How long anyone has been here isn't the issue. PGH made the statement that enigma sounded like a teenager with more posts than flight hours. Crosskey's post didn't merit comment.

I was giving everyone some background on enigma's history.

Others were theorizing that the Citation went down because of ice. How is that different from theorizing about some other cause? To allow one theory to be put forth while not allowing alternate theories to be presented is very CNN'ish, IMO. TC
