No more talk about the NIC....the NIC is the list by court order. Let's talk about a contract. When will USAPA provide a contract. My guess......2011.

(Please, no comments from people who work at Taco Bell).

You guys could have a contract tomorrow, the only question is, just how much are you willing to give up to get it??

You would make excellent ALPA officers

No...I do not want to be an ALPA officer or a USAPA officer. I'm just a line pilot who wants a contract. Being the lowest paid 757 Captain in the world really sucks, so we need you guys in the East to tell the USAPA boys that trying to waste the NIC is a waste of time and money. We want a contract NOW.

The following opinion has NO NIC influence.

I agree a new contact with a nice pay raise would be nice. My position is among the lowest of the low paid in this company, so believe me I feel your pain. However, I am not willing to make quality of life any worse than it is for a few $$. What the company has on the table is just terrible. If we could get both, I am all on board.
We also have to be careful demanding a contract now, just because we are in negotiations. The company reads these things, they have their do boys that run to them with every little thing. So if the company gets the sense that we will sign on the dotted line just for the sake of getting the contract, this will drag out longer, and we will end up worse than we are now.
If there is one thing anyone can learn from the East, it would be concessionary contracts. And this is the classic beginning of another one.
The next step will be the "insiders" telling the line pilots how X is on the table if we could just make the deal today. It is a script and it was perfected by Ford and Harrison. (read confessions of a Union buster).
Again this is not East VS West, this is Pilots VS management.

Don't worry, you won't get the job... Some half-brained high school dropout will give you some crap about being a pilot and why would you want to come here, blah blah blah. Then if you're really lucky, the owner of the franchise will tell you that she won't hire you because you have a masters degree and "you'll think you're smarter than she is..." And, it will go downhill from there...

Trust me, skip the Taco Bell interview, stay home, and get drunk. That way you at least won't waste the gas money going to the interview....

Question for the boys who run USAPA

When are you going to provide a contract for the pilots to vote on?

Why are you paying yourselves so much Union monies that we can't afford?

Why are you flighting a federal court order when it's a no winner?

What "back door" deals did you agree upon with that scum bag lawyer?

Please answer these questions?

Good advice, mah ninja!

180 gallons of homebrewed beer to date. It has saved what little remained of my tolerance and sanity.

While it SHOULD be about Pilots Vs Dougweiser et all, it has been, and remains largely a civil war. One worse than feared would develop in Eye Rack, even.

Until that changes, nothing else will improve. It still chaps my ass when I saw that US Scareways Mgmt is the highest paid in the biz.

Not that they don't deserve it, because they do. They have played their hands masterfully, while the pilots backdoor each other incessantly.

Unionism is not dead in aviation, but it should be taken out back and given death by goonga la goonga. Anything would be better that the ALPO big jet/big moustaches VS the snot nosed IPod chillren.

Mr. Cleary..... How much are you paying the lawyers? Why isn't the money being used to proved benefits for ALL Union pilots?

Quick Facts # 20 Hosted on Unbiased Facts
13 August, 2009

USAPA’s 2009 LM-2 Report

Unions covered by the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act are required to submit
annual financial statements to the US Department of Labor. These statements provide basic
information (click here to find out what's on an LM-2, and what LM-3 and LM-4 are). LM-2
reports are public documents that you can distribute. LM-2 forms are now online on the website
of the US Department of Labor (www.dol.gov) and the forms are searchable, this means you can
look for all officers earning over $100,000, for example, or for information about a particular
officer or employee of the union.

Also, this form details both the income and the expenses of the union. On June 29, 2009,
USAPA filed its LM-2 for the period of 7/1/2008 through 3/31/2009. Total receipts for the
period were, $5,548,174 while total disbursements were, $5,192,121.

For public information on USAPA’s annual DOL financial table look at this link:

http://erds.dol-esa.gov/query/getOrgQry.do

In the Basic Search window enter the document number of 543-770. This will bring you to
USAPA’s fiscal year LM-2 report entry. Next click onto 2009 Fiscal Report, which will bring up
the exact document.

Detailed Charts are published on the following pages. Detailed tables are at the very end. The
charts and tables that follow represent only some of the expenses paid by USAPA as indicated in
the DOL LM-2 Report.

Mr. Cleary...Why are you still spending over $186K on the RICO? The case is dead in the water. And, there was no case to begin with!
