Due to soft domestic box demand.


It appears that domestic box demand is strong, however, the supply is not consistantly available, sometimes due to a headache. This corresponds to the 50% divorce rate.
 
Heard from multiple sources... fedex CA for one that they are at least over manned by 150 pilots and that either furloughs are on the forcast or they can contractually be brought down to 48 hours to prevent furloughs... hope it's wrong. Due to soft domestic box demand.

Jetblue is slowing down but still plans on 5-6% growth this year. Haven't hired all those guys yet.

he is very wrong...have to hire into FDAs...can't junior man them...still short in the FO seats...had lunch with senior manager friend today...no furloughs!
 
JetBlue has stated it's looking to hire 350+ this year.
I just came from recurrent and the school house in MCO is rocking with large new hire classes.
