Sorry if it comes off as pompous. But it's those at majors that know nothing of regionals, that bad mouth them (regionals) the most. Most have military time in their signatures. Before you state how bad regionals are, or unsafe, or leading to the demise of the industry, it would help if you actually knew something about them. It's these oblivious individuals that do, and have done the most damage in this industry.

Rant over... Sorry if the above does not define you.
Not knowing all the codes does not mean someone does not know about the regional industry. I fly Boeings, I know nothing about Airbus. Does that mean I know nothing about being a pilot?

Again....it's trivial pursuit.

BTW - military turn you down? Lose the attitude toward those who have sacrificed and served their country. Try thanking them instead.

Give it up guys. This industry is in major flux. These things are changing faster than anyone can keep up with.

Who ever uses the airline codes to speak on forums either has deep issues or is a collegiate aviation grad. I agree with the OP, it's very annoying.
