I need to know the Balanced Field Length for both the CL-604 and the Da-2000Ex, for a 1200nm trip 8pax from SL and From 3000 ft, std Day +59degF.

Better if the info is generated on the FMS.

Thanks.

15c, no slope, 29.92:

CL 604:

8 pax and 1200 NM (no wind):

SL:

3715 ft, 9.5% second segment

3000 ft elev:

4411 ft, 8% second segment

I don't know the 2000EX, the few FMS i knew can doit.

Falcon 2000EX according to Ultra Nav

SL. Slats+10 FLaps: 4160 & 8.8 climb
Slats+20 Flaps: 3920 & 7.6 climb

3000' Slats+10 4550 & 9.0 climb
Slats+20 4310 & 7.9 climb

The Falcon has a better climb at 3000 than at SL??

Thank G100Driver, thanks to ALL for this info.

Ran it 2x's on ultra nav.

Not saying it is correct, but just reading the numbers  I am WAY too lazy to pull out the spaghetti charts on this.

You assume that you can generate this on the FMS in the Falcon 2000EX:rolleyes: :(
It's a pretty safe assumption. The 2000EX has an EASy cockpit, so computing this data is not a stretch for this set-up. Lot's of FMSs can compute this data. Hawkers, Gs, and yes, Falcons all have the ability to do it (Model dependent). Production 50EXs and 900EXs can do it, as well as Honeywell NZ2Ks found in Hawkers and Gs. The new Hawkers have Collins Proline 21 in them, and they can do it as well. Even the straight F2th with the Collins Pro Line 4 are capable of performing these calculations. You must remember that even though the FMS might have the ability to do so, it might not be technologically capable. It depends on how up to date the performance software is. I think with Collins you need 4.0 or better and with Honeywell you need 5.8(?) maybe 6.0 or better.
