Hey guys if someone doesn't meet the 3 year PIC requirement for a chief pilot position can one get a waiver? Lets say instead of having 36 months of PIC, I only have 32 months, can I still get the position but with a waiver?

kewl, thanx fellows!

The waivers have to be granted by the FAA regional offices now (Atlanta for the southeast), went through this about a year ago and our POI said that by the time they would get a response I would probably be qualified and not need the waiver. Sad thing was I still needed 12 months PIC... but had over 3 years of ACP experience. Wheels of the government turn slow.
