So I guess that the cancer of the regional industry that was known as Mesa, will now be known as Chatauqua (sp?). If they do fly for ATA, and my buddies at Windy City get sh!t on...I hope that UAL, AA, and USAir all drop RP for violation of anti competition clause or whatever was written into the contracts by lawyers to prevent such a thing.
Yeah... anti-competition. That's why we fly for US, DL, AA, and UA. Talk about 2 pairs of airlines directly competing with one another; I'm sure us flying for ATA would suddenly piss them off. BTW this is nowhere on the rumor mill here at CHQ... some of you guys really need a hobby. Or a girlfriend.

It's True!

CHQ is going to start flying for ATA, just like John Travolta is investing in ATA.
Get a job, and quit spreading rumors.

Perhaps he wants to play the part of Howard Hughes? I though Leo DiCaprio was playing that in an upcoming movie role? For Travolta, this would be the way to gain additional type ratings... I don't imagine it would be difficult for him to put together an investor group if he was interested - plenty of rich Scientologists out there like Tom Cruise (also a pilot)...........

That's nice and all....

I did see Travolta's 707 in Indy the other day........Seriously though it was there.
But, because it's sitting on the ramp doesn't mean he's there to invest in ATA. If you read the article, he diverted...or his crew diverted to Indy.
Now, how bored are some guys that are taxiing by and see John's 707 out there and say "Hey, there Travolta's jet, i heard he's investing in ATA....Hey, there is a CHQ jet sitting behind an ATA ready for take off....they must be doing all thie flying for them"...
Seriously, get a life if all you have to do is stir up, and spread rumors......IMHO

Travolta to buy Chautauqua?

Is it true that John Travolta flew into Indy to buy Chautauqua? Will all of their employees be required to be extras in his next movie without receiving extra pay? Stories like this and much much more in this week's "As the Prop Turns" on sale this week in your local crew lounge!

I'd be in a scene with Kelly and he wouldn't have to pay me a penny!!!!

Geez, sorry! I was just making a statement that it was there.

Sorry

I wasn't personally attacking you. I should have stated that ebfore hand.

yeah Dx Rick...I agree. I have "reliable sources" that tell me not only that CHQ is going to fly for ATA, but American Eagle is taking on 600 hour newbies directly to the left seat effective in October.

Well he!!, you knew the kid. He knows everything, and anything to do with aviation. He has friends from low life FO's all the way to top management in every airline out there. He has connections that we only dream of. He's a quality guy, and a great sufer to boot!
