great, its bad enough having to slow down because of the conti erjs, now we have these as well...


p.s.-- i hope they are building their own crew lounge......

You fly a CRJ and you think that you'll have to be slowing down for us. I doubt it. If I had a nickle for everytime I've been following a CRJ and tower/approach told me "you're overtaking the CRJ ahead by 100kts". Can you guys not do 250 to the marker? This is not a slam, I just know absolutly nothing about the CRJ, but I do know that some aircraft have to be configured earlier than others.

Somehow I don't think that's going to be an issue in ATL, given that you're probably doing substantially less than 250 shortly after you check in with approach.

However, the CRJ can do 250 to the marker. It's not pretty and I don't recommend it, but it can be done. What hurts the most is slowing to 215 for flaps 8, after that point it's pretty easy.

Delta? Does that mean that Chautauqua is flying into ATL under the delta connection name?

Are you not getting paid by the hour? With only a handful of flights a day out of ATL, I seriously doubt that you have to slow for us that much.

No, I heard they are doing it under the British Airways Express name. The new callsign will be "Chit Bird".
