Unreal GL,
When you are beat , you are beat.
Sometimes I get it wrong ...and put my hand up.
You use FZ to articulate a point that is completely wrong....and then you change the topic.
Here's the thing...EK pilots don't tell DAL pilots how bad their life is because we don't live it.
Yet somehow you know our gig...let me tell you .. You have no idea ...but you do.
I have a job that you will never have...and it hurts doesn't it ..
Don't worry you can pull my gear anytime jnr

You are joking of course. You compared DCI or Regional flying as flying that is "cheap labor", just like your CHEAPER FZ. It's true, those guys don't even get CLOSE to your pay or benefits, yet they do your "regional" flying, taking a lot of your A330 flying intra Gulf with their 738s. (just like the regionals have taken some of the smaller towns around our hubs) You just can't disagree with that, because YOU WOULD BE WRONG. Check out the schedules from DXB to Bahrain, Kuwait, etc. Used to be more A330s, now mainly 738s...... YOU ARE WRONG.....
DL pilots, or any LEGACY pilot in the US has a better lifestyle compared to yours because of your SURROUNDINGS. It's just true, watch the videos that the Qantas guys were given about future layovers there. It's actually quite alarming, and something most people have to think twice about. It is what it is. It's hard to tell US pilots that EK is better than the US legacies, because we are HOME. We get to come HOME after each trip. Many Expats over there get to come HOME, but then return and most likely have to stay around there. (in the region) That doesn't sound fun, and no wonder EK pilots don't say that. (although that ex DL guy I met in DUS did--he said be thankful where you are at, and I am)
I have a great job, flying widebodies from the US to Europe, Asia, and South America (I avoid Africa, you probably don't, sorry about that, enjoy the malerone). I don't want your job, and I don't want to slather SPF 150 on myself everyday. YOU DO. What do they say about your Summers? Arizona hot and Florida humidity? NO THANKS. You can have your job, I don't want it.
And, I won't be pulling gear for you, you will be coming back over here and asking for a ramper job. When I do see you on the ramp, I will throw you a small bottle of water, and say, "Thanks for the good work, keep loading the bags, we want to go ontime."
Bye Bye---General Lee
