okay, let me get this straight one last time:
"I DO NOT WORK FOR GULFSTREAM!!!!"
"I INSTRUCTED UNTIL I HAD 926TT AND I FOUND A J.O.B.!!!"
Isn't that what everybody does?
I didn't buy my job. I had an interview, a sim evaluation, was sent to training
and even received a pay during training. I think some of the regionals don't
even do that ( skywest started to pay during training only a few months ago
I believe)
And it's not eagle neither. There is plenty of turbine operators in Fl.
Keep looking.

You wont have a F/A bringing you coffee flying freight. Most likely you will not have a lavatory neither. You will probably fly at night in all kinds of wx, load and strap greasy transmitions and fuel your own plane. Also you will be lucky to have more than 6 days off and the rest of the time you will be on ready reserve. But hey, at least boxes never complain, you'll probably double your pay check, and you dont have to wear a hat and a tie!
All of them.saviboy said:thank you. interesting info.

Not true, all these companies are a piece of cake. spend most of your time in sunny mexico looking at babes . Might have to make a token trip to YIP once in a while. You will feel more refreshed than you have ever fealt. The MX is outstanding, and pay for fo's is great, give it a try you'll love it.speedbird1974 said:Most outfits that fly auto freight are going to be like that. Some better, some worst.
Here are a few:
Ameristar, Murray Air, UsaJet, Kalitta charters, Royal Air, IFL, Cherry air...
A lot of them are 135 under 121 certificate. Some are based in the Detroit area and some down in Texas.
This type of flying is hard but very rewarding too. The pay could be pretty good if you stick around for a while and specially if you fly a lot.

tsky said:Although I have never flown passengers, I love my freight flying job. How cool is it flying along in the middle of the night listening to coast to coast am and busting farts in the cockpit trying to gas out my F.O. (or capt.)I don't know, but I don't imagine that you get to do that kind of fun stuff with people on board. Props are cool-it would be nice to be able to blast up and get out of the ice though.
PEACE.

If you read the previous posts, a guy was calling me a "500 hr wonder". I just tried to answer with a little bit of sarcasm.
Just relax please!
