250 Tt

If I were you, I would try to get employment at a large flight school. Instructing is the fastest way to build time. Its boring, time consuming, and depending on the student sometimes dangerous, and low pay! But unless you can latch on to a check hauling job it is the quickest way to build time!

Hey everyone was just wondering if anyone had any insight as to what I could do with 250TT? 24 of that is multi. I know I can be a CFI, but was just wondering if there are any other routes? My ratings are Commercial ASEL, AMEL, Instrument Airplane. I trained in Beech Bonanzas and Barons. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks.

PS: I don't even care if i get paid....

[FONT=arial, verdana, helvetica, sans-serif]This outfit is looking for banner tow pilots. You would need a tail-wheel endorsement and some additional training in banner towing (not endorsement). There are many other banner tow outfits in Florida and adjacent states doing the same thing - do some google'ing.

Edited to correct my wording regarding "endorsement." Glad y'all are reading the fine print - keeps me honest :) .

Please don't work for free!!!!!!!!

Check out the post I put up for aerial surveyor in a Partenavia. You will fly XC legs with a MEI and run the camera on flightline until you have some more multi hours. Great company in central Alabama. PM me if you're interested. Seems like a great way to get 250 hours and your foot in the door.

I had a job with an aerial surveyor before I had my commercial, not as a pilot but as a civil engineer. Got my commercial and haven't looked back, flying-wise, that is... the engineering has sort of fallen by the wayside. There's nothing like flying a 12-mile flightline tighter than an ILS at the middle marker, it really enhances your stick and rudder skills.

My employer then helped pay for my CFI to help a new guy for his insurance dual hours.

He might not like that job because they would pay him.

sorry to piss you off....
Nice of you to apologize. Take your 250TT and go work the Jack-in-da-Box drivethru. That's better for all of us than having you fly for free.

If you are looking to build time you can always join CAP (Civil Air Patrol) and become an orientation pilot or mission pilot, it will only add maybe a 100 hours a year. Other than that you could check into being a jump pilot for a skydiving outfit. Good Luck
