Charles Lindbergh, Juan Trippe, C.E Woolman and Gordon Bethune ....... :D I'm sure that I've missed a few. No they aren't on FI, but I'm sure you see the point. I'm having trouble coming up with non pilot amazing airline Execs. Except for Herb.

When did Gordo get his pilot's license? He's also got a mechanics license, but I bet he had that many, many years before his pilots license.

Also, you missed Robert Six, the great CEO who brought Continental into its glory days. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Six

Cool until he sucks in a bunch of pilots who leave their current jobs for the possibility of something better, and then dumps them on the street a year later because his hobby didn't work out.

If you're stupid enough to go to this sh!t show you deserve everything you get.

I'll fly for him, of course it will take a $3.5 million retainer in a trust fund to get me to work for him, just in case he goes out of business.

My guess is he will have zero problems filling the drivers seat.

bottom line:

1 what do they pay?
2 what are their work rules?

before you think of moving down there... know what you're getting into
