Any news on the 2-8 777s?
Why would an employer want to hire a guys who will be absent for 50% of their first year? Honestly, can you blame them for not wanting to hire guys who can forgo work when they like? A civilian guy cannot walk into the CP's office and say "hey dude, my part time Falcon job needs me the next 3 weeks, I aint comin in." I could care less either way but I understand why they don't like to hire guys who have other commitments.
The requirements just keep getting tougher. Not only do they want you to have a bachelor's degree, they expect you to be able to spell it correctly!
Where they all going?? Isn't the total net 15 hulls??
All to EWR for now. Sometimes a few IAH 737 come up, but not for awhile. 33 new 737's this year, currently 16 scheduled to leave(could be more).

F a bunch of CAL. No insurance for 6 months? WTF, Over? For a company that champions how it treats its employees, that's a pretty sharp kick in the gonads to start out your career. That being said, if you like landfills, waste incinerators, violent crime, and scenic northern Jersey, by all means, apply.

If Continental doesn't want people taking advantage of military leave their first year they could try paying a decent first year wage with health insurance. Just a crazy thought! The reality is people have to look out for their own financial interests.
