Yeah, it really is. That's how $*%&ed up the courts have become in this country.

Quote: There are millions of theories out there about the future of ExpressJet. With CO deciding not to have all of their express rj "eggs" in one basket.
Quote: And for the record, CHQ winning the rest of the flying is a possibility; let's not dismiss that.
Yup... as soon as the the CAL pilot group votes away their scope clause for half of their concessions back, in come CHQ's 70 and 90 seaters.
Then it's not "open time" it's JR Manning.
From what I understand thats the truth.
No, I know you're right...I'm just saying not all courts (read anti-labor/pro-labor) will rule the same way. The way its going Labor won't have ANY options. It doesn't matter what it's called. If historically something like 70% of open time was covered by pilots picking up trips, and then negotiations start and it drops to 30%... bingo, job action.
It's the same thing if Captain X wrote up 20 maintenance writeups all of last year, and in the last month he wrote up 15. Another job action.
If you don't think they track this stuff, you're crazy.

BTW, if we want to gloat egos maybe I will a little too. For your information, sir, the only reason XJet is doing the Delta flying out of LAX is because SkyWest has a no competition clause with UAL. This clause states that SkyWest cannot fly for a another company out of the same hub.
...fire away
I'm sure you've got the inside scoop on who DAL selected and for what reasons. Anyway, our foot is in the door. You guys had a chance with CAL and things didn't work out so well. It's our turn with DAL and guess what, I'm hearing we may see more markets.
