Are C130J's RVSM?

Anyone, anyone, Buehler, anyone?

I thought the military was exempted from RVSM requirements...but I've certainly been wrong before. :)

the military is not exempt from rvsm, the t-6, t-1, and t-38 are definitely not rvsm'd. the kc-135 is though

Our C130H are not RVSM however I wasn't sure about the J's. Some have said they are but I can't find official guidance.

So, instead of finding official guidance I figured I would come to the "unofficial" official guidance of FI.com.

When I stopped flying them in December, they were not...not sure if things changed since...I doubt it.

Thanks

They still ain't.

yes the J model can get above FL290 (i've had it to 370) and the fleet is under the RVSM mod now. I believe it will be released with block 6.0
