PS-Embraer says that the 20% fuel savings is bogus, and that their aircraft are very efficient, and that the "C" can't be that much more efficient than theirs.

Embraer points out that while the engine itself may be somewhat more efficient, when you put the engine on an airframe, much of the increases in efficiency go down because of air flow interference with the fuselage.

Bombardier stands by their claim that the engine is 20% more efficient than the most efficient engines operating today. They said they took the airframe airflow into account when they got the 20% increase in fuel efficiency.

No, no, no......SkyWest must be signing a deal to fly as Lufthansa Express. That's gotta be it. ;)
