no money can be found to fund American education

You are a complete blithering idiot. We spend more per child on education than anyone. The money goes to liberal social programs in schools, not education. Private schools in my area spend less money per child than do the public schools, the difference is literally laughable in the quality of education. Guess which schools my children attend?

Get a freaking clue before you run your mouth about which you have no idea.

Hey, Alaskan Aviator!

The education bill that this President supported was (you might want to sit down for this) written by Ted Kennedy.

A few weeks from now you may finally realize that you have just made an a$$ of yourself by criticizing the President on education.... but I won't be holding my breath.

You are clueless.

Why not actually try to LEARN something before opening your mouth?

Why Mr. Snakum, I'm unbelievably flattered that I have wormed my way into your collective consciousness enough that you would anticipate my input. I guess I hadn't noticed you too much myself (sorry for the slight).

I didn't read the link, but I assume it has to be Bush-bashing humor.

Laugh on - my president's skin is pretty thick, as is mine.

Mocking someone doesn't prove anyone wrong or right, unless you went to the Jesse Jackson academy of thought and discourse where the cutest rhyme wins.

I'm afraid I must disappoint you here, I only respond to debate, not potshots. I take no potshots at Clinton, even though I loathed his term in office. I don't even refer to him as 'bubba' as others do. I like to think I am above that.

The funny thing about the most vitriolic of Bush (or for that matter) Clinton-bashers is that emotional and juvenile 'debate' serves to convince very few. If anything, it reduces the chance of winning 'converts'.

The Al Franken method of behavior will change absolutely no ones mind on Bush as a president. Anyone who changes their mind either way over this kind of crap is too soft-headed to be of consequence. (Still dangerous at the polls, however).

Hence, it becomes an insider's club - it keeps more people out than it pulls in. Which is why I hope the left keeps up its current level of smack-talkin'. It just makes us look better.

Cheers, and keep up the good work! :)

True...I'd like to point out, however, that Mr. Franken's latest book is extremely well documented.

Honestly, any thread like this is just flame-bait. You heartless right-wingers will never change the minds of you brainless left-wingers and vice versa. And those of us in the middle think you're both nuts.

How about if we go back to discussing something a bit less divisive...like the RJDC? Or porn?

I love liberals,
They all entertain me with their whining all of the time. All that Bush has done is to respond to the terrorist that hijacked airplanes and our futures and crashed them into buildings. Remember when Clinton had the chance to wipe out osama and al'queda? He did nothing, he told his political advisor Dick Morris that he could not in good faith commit American troops to bring down the terrorists network because he himself had dodged the draft, in "off with their heads: by dick morris. Bush had to do something or this kind of thing would have kept on happening.
HEY ALASKAN it could have been much worse, Gore could have been president on 9/11/03

Your whole argument for anything that somebody says about bush is that he isn't Clinton! I say gosh darn conservative garbage that I've been listening to for the last 3 years. I'm sick and tired of being lied to. I'm sick of the government costing American lives because of its lies. I'm sick of the government putting billions into the desert when at the same time, no money can be found to fund American education, to invest into the American economy so the thousands out of work can get jobs. Fix America first!!!!!!

What the hell is Michael Moore doing on an Aviation website? Isn't your ass to big to even sit in the back of most airplanes?

Seriously, Alaskan Leftwinger, I have given it some thought. After reading some of your other posts I have decided we cannot be friends. You need to leave immediately.

...so's his skull.

Couldn't resist... :D

In the script I've been handed, I'm now supposed to tell you that America is safer today, and that the world is kinder and nicer and happier, because of I'm such a brilliant general in the War on Terror.

LOL

Here, Mr. Bush's words became unintelligible. As usual.

rotflmao.:D

How true how true- "Wdumbya" at his best...

We still seem to have some fools who continue to attack Clinton even though he isn't even the one calling the shots present day. I guess when you have a fool for a leader and you can't show praise you must attack someone personally who isn't even in office. Go get em repubs.:D

04" will be here soon enough.

Your ranting only continues to show how devoid of intelligence you are and how divorced you are from reality. Liberals are a bunch of despot loving surrender monkeys that have only won wars when Europe was driving the bus.

Think about it, liberals brought us Korea, they brought us Vietnam, they coddled Iran when they took our embassy hostage, they tucked tail and ran from Somalia and hid out at Camp David when Osama was offered up.

I dare you to recount one military victory or diplomatic coup that a Democrat has led since WWII. Maybe the Cuban Missile Crisis. Other than that it has been a bunch of scared little children hiding in corners hoping the bully will pick on someone else.

As for the deaths in Iraq? More people have been murdered in the same time period in Washington DC as have died in Iraq. We have set Iraq as the battleground against Islamic Terrorism and the Terrorists are obliging us and showing up to fight. It is the lambs coming to the slaughter, the news chooses not to cover the numbers of terrorist deaths. I would rather fight the battle there than here.

Liberals simply don't understand we are at war and we are winning. Will it take more time, yes, however, if we quit now and leave Iraq without a functioning stable democracy in place, the same situation we just eradicated will simply return. So say what you will about GW, at least he had the balls to take the fight to the Islamic Nutcases.

Camp David accords: James Carter, Haiti and Bosnia: William Clinton. This is just off the top of my head...someone else could probably do better.

All presidents lie. I've come to accept that. The important question is what do they lie about and how important is it? I'd rather deal with a leader who lies about blowjobs than one who lies about wars.

The sad fact is that the last administration had put together an excellent plan for dealing with the terrorist threat (including a body we now call the Homeland Security Administration) and more or less handed it over to W. and his people. The Bush administration wanted nothing to do with anything that had Clinton's odor on it, so they ignored the plan and paved the way for September 11th...and all of Sean Hannity's (and bart's) revisionist history won't change that. Even Condaleza Rice admitted that the ex-president's people had tried to brief W. about Osama and his plans.

Don't get me wrong: I don't Blame George W. Bush for September 11th...but I don't understand why George Tenet, Robert Mueller, and Gen. Hayden still have their jobs. Surely we can all agree on that!
