Wonder if they'll still be required to clean the cabin after their flight? :D

Domestic non-glowing slug

I just deadheaded the other "day" (HKG-ICN-ANC-JFK) and it nearly took that long but I'm already bald so no big loss with the radiation....

1649A Constellation

As impressive as that is, TWA used to fly the 1649A Constellation from Paris to San Francisco in something just under 23 hours non-stop. This would have been around 1956,57, early 58. Three pilots, two FE's, two navigators.

I was part of a crew in 1966 that ferried an ex Lufthansa 1649 from Hamburg to Oakland in 21:50. So these really exceptionally long flights are not that new but rather it is the distance that they travel.

With my luck I would still get stuck in front of the screaming brat kicking the back of my seat for 24 hrs.

Hey BBB,

Long time, no insults! Just noticed the rating section of your Avatar. Don't they type rate the F/O's over there at big brown?
