I'm not doubting that you were told that, Dr. P. However, I wonder what the whole story is. That plane has been languishing in the certification process for about a decade. A friend of mine is a demo pilot for HawkerBeechcraft and he says the company isn't even telling the employees what the holdup is in deliveries. They have a pretty large number of aircraft that are complete but can't be delivered.

When you look around Beech field and start counting the 4000's sitting around and then multiply it by around $20 million, the numbers are staggering.

Yep...lets see....30 copies or so at 20 mil a copy...

You're well north of a HALF BILLION DOLLARS...

I wonder how many of those that signed on for the 30 copies just sitting there will actually take delivery, having ejected and moved on....

I have many friends in house as well and they also say the AOA is the last certification issue.
