Been using the setup for six years now. It's NEVER happened. Not even once.

Check it when you plug it in for the day. If the light isn't blinking, it'll run for DAYS. If it blinks, swap a new battery in right then.

It's amazing to me that consumers still pay for Bose products considering the vast amounts of information available to them.

Where is the best place to get the Bose 15?

you can easily get a qc15 on ebay, or directly from Bose....if your really cheap, Bose will even finance it over 12 months at 0%. After you get the headset, youll need to get the mike from uflymike.com...it is worth it, your in a nice Bose ANR headset for under 500 bucks, and ditto on the battery thing...never had an issue...spend 5 bucks a month and put a 6 pack (OF BATTERIES!) in your bag...problem solved for WAY cheaper than taking the $1100 A20...not a $600 difference if you ask me...
