I think I'm going to start carrying one of those bobble-head hula dancers to stick on the top of the glare shield....

I knew a pilot once who had a bobble-head dog. He named him "Choppy." He functioned as a "seatbelt sign on" indicator.

Corny? Yes. Goofy? Absolutely. Original? For sure!
 
I take it you haven't been in many AA cockpits? They seem to like the loin cloth thing for some reason.

Hate to break the news brotha but flew with a HOU captain that flew with his dong cloth and his Aggie hat. And no he was not a good dude either. We have our share as well.

Maybe not quite original. I've flown with several captains who place bobble heads, teddy bears, and other stuff on the glareshield.
