(if this has been already discussed, then my appologies for wasting your time)

a welcome relief from all the rumor on this board, this one you can take to the bank:

To possibly ruin your day, was flying over South Carolina today and heard Center ask some plane whose call sign was the tail number, what outfit he was flying for, as the "tail number was not in the database." The dude, sounding like he had been caught and was in trouble," said Go---jet airlines, sir for United express."

No more questions were asked, wish I could have found out more.

Proving runs? thats my guess. Wonder what the current status of them is,with the TSA pilots voting no to that crappy one list proposal weeks ago.

Any thoughts?

Kinda becoming a bad month for all us. Delta cutting regional flying, Freedom/Mesa starting for delta, NW carriers in uncertainties, now this.

U guys are a bit behind. I saw a Go-Jet 70 seater in DEN all last month at the gate every time I was in there.

Hey Go************************* boys...

Sorry we missed Tango off 27L yesterday when you were behind us. Really, we didnt mean to... I .... promise.

Can you explain who ************************* is and how and why they started. Are they a new regional or a spin-off??? I have heard the name but do not know what their deal is.

You need to do a thread search about this company and get informed. It has been on here for months now about how this airline came into being. (Hint: Sounds something like MESA and Freedom.)

Immature. Real professionals don't play such games. You're no better than they are now.

Just joking around hard A$$. Laugh a little. Relax. Id bet you'd be a lot more fun to fly with if you did.

I love how most of the people on the boards with raging hatred against this whole thing are F.O.'s...

"Excuse me Capt., but throw this idiot off my airplane... I'm a 18K/yr. regional F.O. and he's ruining my career !!! "

Hilarious...

WRONG... FO's have every right to be pissed!!! What these guys did affects the FO's just as much as everyone else at TSA. Busting seniority and alter-ego's screws everyone, not just captains.

They are not scabs... If the TSA union doesn't like their existance, fight against it (they are)... Jumpseat wars and evil looks are not going to get you nowhere... I just find it pretty hypocritical for an 20K/yr. F.O. calling anyone else an undercutter..

It's called looking at the big picture. This battle has already been fought AND lost on another level. Until mainline pilot groups get their heads out of the sand it's all irrelevant.

I thought that was a normal day for you....:pimp:

Why the hell is it that senior captains seem to think FO's should have no say and no rights? Look at FO pay. Look at reserve rules. The guys that negotiate this stuff are senior captains. I can totally see management sitting there at the negotiating table saying something like this to the senior captains on the negotiating committee....

"Ok guys....we see what's going on here, you give us these crappy junior work rules, reserve callouts, and FO pay, and we'll hook you up with a great 12 or 15 year pay rate. You don't have to deal with reserve and that stuff anyway."

FO pay should be 60% of captain pay for EVERY year. Why isn't it? Of course pilots eat their young. Senior captains don't give a flying $hit about FO's. "I've been here longer, so I know everything." Some of you FO's need to volunteer your way on the negotiating committee, and cry foul if they won't give you a shot.

That's a completely different arguement in which I totally agree with you. The major airline unions are guilty of this too. Just look at Continental's first year pay !!!

What I'm getting at is the fact that there seems to be a vocal minority of regional F.O.'s that believe they have the right to deny deny jumpseats. It's hard for me to visualize a guy paid 21K putting down another making 20K, "alright buddy, you can afford to supersize... congrats..."

Funny:laugh: !!!! Why slam on the brakes????? You can use the whole runway if you want:beer: !!!!!! Some people need to have a laugh every once in a while, I heard it keeps the blood pressure down!
BTW- You are better than those A$$es over there:smash: !!!! Also, real professionals don't sleep, read, watch movies, listen to music, look at porn, have water fights while in the cockpit:rolleyes: ?!?! I guess I'm in with 95% of the "un-professional" pilot group!!!!

I haven't seen that many TSA FO's making a$$es out of themselves over this. It's more the CA's that are vocal about this. I don't like the way it's happening but I'll suck it up until I can vote, then let my voice be heard there.

Does anyone know if GJ has voted on their union yet?
