When I first heard it happened around OCC, I was floored. I have worked with the pilot on a few things, and he always seemed to be a bright person, and easy to talk to.

I pray that his wife and children can get on with the rest of their life.

But, he did not murder anyone. 3 life sentences? Seems extreme to me but, I do not know all the facts. Best of luck to his wife and kids.

I do. He deserved everything he got. The judge told him that he could have done his wife a favor by just killing her.

He'll likely get it in prison. Even prisoners don't like kids being involved in anything.

My understanding is that rapists and pedaphiles get "special treatment" from the inmates. The guards are sureto let the population know who is in for what. I'd imagine this guy may be in for similar treatment based upon the facts of the case. He's a fairly big guy, so who knows. Also, when you're destined to never see freedom again, you become an animal in prison as you'vegot nothing to lose. I've seen some insane CCTV footage of fights breaking out where the victim was attacked brutally by guys who are doing multiple life sentences. If they cut you, kill you, maim you or whatever, they really don't care.

Not really. A lot could have changed with this guy over the past 18 or so years since he was hired. You have no evidence to prove he had any psychological issues when he was hired.

He's in prison for assault and rape. The article didn't mention anything about alcohol abuse.

not sure if alcohol was involved or not, but he made a lot of threats via telephone while flying trips from what I read so I'd assume he was sober
