I'm no expert on the facts of the case, but has he been convicted?
Wrists and a toe kinda sounds like she might have been then one throwing punches and kicking.
I've seen a few cases now where female prosecutors have brought battery cases against men when evidence, objective evidence like video tape, shows the woman was the one bringing the fight. Give a under-performer a law degree and they can become a assistant prosecutor (the lowest rank in the lawyering profession).
I'll just say that with some of the female prosecutors that I've seen, I DO NOT consider them alone to be a credible source - they are advocates for the prosecution, that's their job. We should take a Pilot and an Officer's version of the story as at least an equal account and look to objective evidence tip the balance.
We know nothing about this case and should not judge another unless we know what happened. Pray for the whole family ... what a mess.
