In the few press reports I've read, BA Management is praising their crew. There must be more to this story than just landing short.

More speculation over at pprune when you can get passed the 'server too busy'! Interesting incident, but very pleased the crew made the runway (well, almost!).

Those were "banged" up. Those birds are still in the air I'm sure. BA's bird was much more severe, and will probably be parted out or written off with all that damage. I'm really curious to see what happened here.

I wouldn't say that these are quite on the same scale as the BA Heathrow incident today. At least these Triple 7's were still flyable.
