I took a look at Avantair............once. Seeing their payscale was enough. Granted, it is probably better than being unemployed, but how does anyone with a family live off that scratch? Avantair will be hiring alot of folks in the next 1-2 years as the pilot market slowly rebounds.

BTW - it's hard to believe some are even remotely trying to compare Avantair to SW - but thanks for the laugh.

Certainly is true in these statements... As the baby boomers are forced to retire the pilot job market will get more competitive!

Wonder how I got the credit for that post. I never was a big fan of unions, even when I was forcibly enrolled, and definitely not a fan of that particular union.

BMW builds ugly crap. Both cars and motorcycles. Fugly comes to mind when I see most of the BMW scrap metal. Their motorcycles are like something that should be used for transporting "Meals on Wheels" to elders.
