Sounds stiff to me, maybe this could be a reason why they can not find enough people.

Say what??? I sent them a resume several months ago and didn't get any interest whatsoever. I have over 1500ME and 1000 in the 727 which is what I am flying currently. My total is on the low side but it met their mins as of late last summer. I know they have raised the total to 2500 but gee whiz, doesn't 1300 turbine make me qualified to fly the Piaggio?

Why?

Why would you want to go from a B-727 to a P-180?

All contracts tell me one thing, the company has high turn over... If you dig deeper you usually fine a reason why. Is pay still 25,000 first year at AvantiAir?

1. Because I am about to lose my job.
2. I will be a life long SIC where I am at now even if we did have work in the future here.
3. Pay is frozen and Captain Pay is higher at Avantair than FO pay where I am at now, plus it's PIC turbine increasing my future potential.

I do love the 727 though.

the only turnover this year has been 3 pilots - one pilot got called up by Continental, one pilot left because he got a job with ATC. Only one pilot left because he was disgruntled with a previous DO, he went to netjets to fly a 10.
