Does anyone who works for ASA have any tips on things one might do or material to memorize before going to new hire training. Memory items or checklist or anything that may help out to make training go easier or smoother? Thanks. I may be starting a class in Dec.

How did you find out about Dec. class? Did you get a word from them after your good letter; and when did you interview? I interviewed in Sept.

Thanks

ASA Class

Well congrats to all of the new hires. Even with all of the bickering, this truly is a great company.

As for studying. In basic indoc (first 2 weeks), just pay attention, and do the homework.

I would reccomend to study the immediate action (memory) items, and limitations when you get your aircraft specific books (most likely CRJ). Those are the items which are continuously being tested during training, although your first test is week 4.
Otherwise, just pay attention in class, ask GOOD questions, and keep a positive attitude.

Good advice. Also, if by the end of the first day you don't know who the know-it-all is, it's you.
