I was hearing that for a while, but not lately. I think Scott sent out an email saying they were waiting a few months and actually even asking Delta if it was going to be a long term thing or a short term thing. That was a month or two ago and that was the last I heard.

On another note we could probably do a DTW base if they kept up the flying there. And for the love of God we need either a very small base in ORD or a couple crews TDY'd up there. Because when you get into the CAE-ORD-SAV Bermuda triangle and stuff goes wrong, everything gets seriously screwed up.

That happens whenever I fly out of ATL, and that IS our main base. When will we see some CA upgrades? Summer season is over and we are still spread too thin to handle any hiccups in the system.

A new base to open just for them to close it within 6-12 months no thanks! Closed down to many others for the DL system.

Very early morning starts, very late duty outs. Out station bases may or may not be commuter friendly...

KCHA sounds good. It's the default alternate anyways, so what's the difference?

late starts if you be based there, planes not ready coming outa mtc, just ask any former MCN based pilots

I'm guessing this would go fairly senior in the left seat, it's that much closer to Dallas and ABA crowd would be happy to be out of ATL.

I don't necessarily think the Dallas crowd would take the Memphis stuff. They didn't take Dulles, and there is a rediculous number of flights up there between Dulles and Dallas. I guess people are terrified of change......

There are upgrades in training right now.

True. These upgrades might even come close to making up for the Viet Nam pilots who have already departed. At best this will be a wash. Most likely it will still be a net loss.

Off topic, but..

If you have to form an "OM answer desk" to alleviate confusion on your dumbass OM and checklists, then you've done a bang-up job. Way to go guys.
