Yes come to work, you can do more damage at work then away from it. A new CA will do as told and not write up the little things.

I'm new to the left seat....But I AM NOT AFRAID to stand my ground on any write up. I will write up anything that needs to be addressed. Especially in the name of safety...after all we need to be safe out there!

I maybe new to the seat but I have been here for 5 years. Unity is better than the sum of a few.

NO ONE USE YOUR CELLPHONE.

And oh yeah, I called in sick for a legitimate reason today, waited 20 minutes to talk to a scheduler who said they were getting slammed with sick calls.

:laugh:A better day at ASA I have never had...:laugh:Can't wait to add my .02 for SAFETY!! Now mgmnt will realize WHO really RUNS THE SHOW!! Keep it up folks, we will bring them to their knee's!
I feel like a proud papa listening to all of this UNITY....FINALLY here on the board!!

Wrong. I've written every little thing up that I can find from day 1 on line. This includes 1 little bulb that is burnt out in the Master Caution or Warning Switches, even though the rest work.

All or nothing........

(more lyrics, this time from Milli Vanilli....)

All or nothing... push
All or nothing... Girl let it be
Night after night it
starts the same

LTG

I turn two for manuverability and safety.....BTMS WHAT!!!!! Checklist who....Preflight Where....Extra Bags How....Runnin Pax When...

I made your mom angry .... it was a good thing. boooyah. high fives all around

man at least melit, gay angelo and hellow newfag all came up with stupid sh!t that was relevant to the contract or the current working conditions when they spewed thier drivel all over the boards.

The same post about someones mom is stupid. At least take the time to say something that pertains to the contract, lack of contract or general b!cthing that we as ASA pilots do on a dialy basis.

Cmon l!mpdick, you can do better...you paid $10. Give it a shot.

I know!

Taxiing in today, I saw an ATR taxiing toward the gate down Fox faster than I have ever seen any airplane taxi in my life! I honestly thought he was a) taking off, b) Landing, or c) On fire!

I guess not everybody is on board! Way to go fella!

It was JB-on his way to the next RJDC meeting to meet up with the rest of those losers!

Finally!

Thanks to all who are kicking these tards in the nards! We needed to do this a while back, but it is getting done!

-Attention to detail!

-P.S.-here is a good one MX hates!:
Pull out the shoulder harnesses and write them up if they are frayed. The pilot harnesses are not deferrable and the fix takes at least two hours!

-GET SOME YOU SORRY ASA MGMT MFs!!!!!!!!!

Double Post:uzi:

The communications service panal on the nose:

The test light for the:
1) Parking brake(Red)
2) The AC power(amber)---not sure

I do not think these are in the MEL

But this is just what someone told me. I have not looked any of this up in the MEL.

I don't know what makes me laugh harder. You guys thinking you are actually making a difference; or thinking you actually deserve a large raise after acting like children.

I'm not sure what's more pathetic: you....or, well....you.

Cheers.

Keep it up ASA. Finally.

And what do you call mgts. behavior over the last 5 years? I think ASA pilots have been professional and patient.

Don't forget the light inside of the FLUSH BUTTON in the lav of the -200. Most of them are burned out.

We started it yesterday (well, some of us started long ago. Its nice to see so many others decide to be safe for the sake of our passengers) and did a fabulous job. Make sure it continues today and throughout the next week and beyond until something gets resolved. I will be back Sunday for 4 days of continued maintenance write ups and safe taxiing.

Our passengers deserve nothing less than a safe flight.

I know the Delta crews are aggravated about our slower taxi speeds (and so are the controllers) but they should realize that we little regional guys are not as qualified or experienced as the big shot mainline guys. Therefore we little regional guys must do things much slower and more deliberately in order to assure the same level of safety as they do.

If they have a problem with your taxi speed being too slow, stop, set the brake ('cause we can't have unnecessary communications during sterile cockpit ya' know) and ask the controller if he really is asking you to operate your part 121 plane in a manner you would consider unsafe for your plane and passengers....

Have a nice weekend:)

While I don't work for your airline, kinda, on our side of da house, nearly every 200 lav door is missing an occupied, or avail sticker on the white plastic slider.

My overnight cancelled -- lack of crews was what the scheduler told me. I'm halfway through a trip - stuck currently at an outstation - and returned the call from crew scheduling. For some reason, the person at CS said they were short today, and that they were SLAMMED with people calling in sick.

It's happening. What, I don't know, but it's happening.

I've always enjoyed the people I work with at ASA but I'd have to add that I proud of them as well after hearing all this.

Guys,

This company, in all its arrogance, has mistakingly accused ALL of us of being candy ass pushovers.

They are waking up this morning to find out otherwise.

KEEP FLYING THE SAFEST WAY YOU KNOW HOW. The reality of the mismanagement is showing through once our "above and beyond" is removed.

BEAUTIFUL!

They have earned it!

The way I look at it, these fools have royally earned what they are getting! They will not be able to blame it on the weather for long! These f-ckers have abused our good-natured people long enough to finally get what they have coming!!!!

-Attention to detail does more damage than a strike-let's all be very, very detail oriented! Check all gounding straps-very good place to find a broken one is under the spoilerons/glds. Just pop those suckers when you show up at 5:30 am for a special morning! Also-the one on the nosegear doors has a strange way of always being broken.

Your Mom

I don't know what makes me laugh harder. You guys thinking you are actually making a difference; or thinking you actually deserve a large raise after acting like children.

It sure made a difference when I broke one off in your mom's jetpipe last night!

In the chief pilots office, I heard them discussing how all this Havoc was expected AND how they expect it all to blow over in a few days. If this campaign is to be effective, it MUST be sustained.

I have said in the past that I didn't believe this pilot group could effectively administer such havoc due to each individual being concerned only with their own personal career. Up until this week, that was true. After this last round of "impasse" and knowing full well we still won't be released, I am grateful to see everyone getting involved. I HOPE WE CAN SUSTAIN IT !!!

On my last three day trip, I beat the company average; I had a combined average of 33% on-time and 79% completion. Pretty good average for our cause, but I think I can do better.

Word of caution to all crews. If you're going to write up placards and signs at the outstation, only write up ONE !!! Otherwise, you'll hang yourself or your previous fellow crewmember out to dry for leaving Atlanta with undetailed mtc issues.

Believe me, once this issue hits full circle, the complany WILL fight back. It will start by them getting "fire happy" then let the union fight for you job back. So as all you do this.......DO IT RIGHT!!!
CYA!!!!!
