So before it was un safe to operate both aircraft but now if you get extra pay and rigs it's OK.

OK.......

If you would get your head out of your asz and re-read my post you would see that I am on the same side of the fence as you. Yes pay is a must but you and the rest of SKY wouldn't understand that.

Like someone said, we own it, and management wants it. So let them buy it from us for something more important. I say, let them have that, and Pref Bidding, negotiate it for somethings we want.....AND LETS GET THIS dang THING DONE!!!!
Agree

whiners!

You guys make me sick. If SKYW pilots can be dual qualified I think ASA pilots should too. I have almost 100 hours in the CR2 now so I know what I'm talking about.

I agree. Give them this and PBS, and get it done.

And in exchange we get a working agreement that is inferior to the current one? No thanks. They're not offering anything so I don't care to listen. The idea of bargaining is to offer something they want for something we want, or so I've been told. The company can come up with an offer that includes some real improvements over what we have now (not one that simply dresses up what we already have in a new package) and then we can talk about dual qual and PBS.

Quid pro quo, Dr. Lecter.

I fly both, and let me tell you, there are differences. Can we fly both? Obviously. Can we fly both safely? Not consistently. Whenever a guy changes types, those first few legs are questionable. You pray that nothing goes wrong.

Going from the 200 to the 700 is usually easier, except for the landings. The automation makes up for the lack of familiarity. But going from the 700 to the 200 is ugly.

A lot of guys think its cool, but they're just getting by.

Thanks for chimming in. It is good to hear from someone that is doing it. I for one agree with you! I have flown both and there are HUGE differences. I would not want to jump from one to the other, I think that it would be very dangerous! Just wait, someone will "Unfortunately" drive one into the ground and THEN the FAA will step in and set up a new way of doing things. How does the ole saying go..."FAA rules are writen ...in BLOOD!" We shall see!

Quit with the melodramatic BS. They are different, but if you are a competent pilot, you should be able to fly both without "driving one into the ground".

And we may agree to this drivel girl. But, it's gonna cost the company. Nothing free, but it's negotiable.

VOTED IN FAVOR!
