The real question is why the 30 additional slots in IAD? There was only 1 vacancy, and it seemed like they were staffed pretty well. (15 reserves for 45 lines). That just seems like a lot considering it is almost doubling the staffing.

I think they're back filling the folks who bid back to ATL.
 
Did this really require a new thread? There are currently 8 threads on the first page discussing the same topic. The moderation on this forum is terrible. You would think with all the ads, the owner could afford to pay a moderator to hold down the fort.

Yeap we just got a pay raise of a 100%.. still can't buy a soda with it.. testing the waters of the Terms of Service with full understanding is rather foolish... there is no warning for that...

tons of flying being done by ATL based pilots in the UA system next month. Look at the lines, and you'll see how many of the pairings do 1 or 2 days out of 4 flying for UA. The increase in IAD must be to cover this flying.
