Kind of funny really...

SWA 15 RES days/mo.

DAL? Little help Gen Gen. Where ya at, Paris? They have internet there. If they have internet in LBB, they have internet in Paris. Even Paris, TX, has internet.

That's great. I don't think any DL reserve works 19 days a month unless it is a busy Summer month, and then they probably don't go over the average line value by much. I don't really know though. And when I fly INTL flights I often don't bring my computer, and my droid phone doesn't always work overseas. That's fine with me, though, I like to relax on the beach sometimes with no cares in the World.

I haven't been on reserve in awhile but I think it is ten off in a 30 day month and 11 in a 31 day month. Of course they probably get more off on slower months etc. Btw I have been on a great 9 day intra Asia trip so I haven't been able to see FI in a bit. Just did a great WWII tour of Saipan. Any other questions? How was ELP?

10-11 days off for reserve !!..

9 day trip :puke:

Enjoying those intl' layovers?

I've heard SWA also has layovers in HRL, TUS, and SAN.......all near the scary US/Mexican border.

What's your point?

I do plenty of Mexico layovers. None are fun. I was just pointing out even some US layovers can be dangerous, like some intl ones.

LOL!!!!!!! I was out of the country, something your company doesn't trust you to do. Am I right? Gimme proof... Wait, you can't. But, a city is calling your name, and it just barfed. It was AMA.

9 day trip at Delta? That's a long time.

I've said it before. WN does fly international. We service ELP and HRL.

Gup

100 trips a month? That's a lot of takeoff's and landings. From the sounds of that, you guys are underpaid!
Gear up biatch!

It's easy to credit 110-120 trips a month and still get a ton of time at home. Big pay and plenty of time off..

No nine day trips required. Ouch...

How much do you think a 9 day trip or 12 day trip is worth at Delta anyway? Didn't Lee say his 9 day was worth 63 hours? That's pretty good. Sounds like a lot more days off in a row if you take one of those big trips. I bet the 12 day trips are senior for guys who commute. One commute a month would be nice.

Johnsonrod,

Your man love for the general is kinda creepy!!!

Are you jealous? Sounds like it. Were you in the Military? Maybe you like the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy. Sorry to disappoint you, but no, no manlove for the General. Maybe you think that way, but not me. He does make me laugh though, especially with these Southwest slams.

Great banter. The number of days off is 12 or 13, depending on the month. Reserve is long call--12 hour call out minimum--unless converted to short. I've averaged about 30% of my reserve days long call, sitting at home even though I don't live in base, in additon to those 12 or 13. Its been pretty good.

So, you're sitting 12hr callout at home. For discussion sake, we'll say St. Louis, MO. You get called at 8pm. Can you get to base by 8am?

You seem to have a real hang-up with military people. Did you "ask" then "tell" at one time?
